CHAPTER 250
Right after the dinner, Jade, Macy, Astoria and Jenny got talking as she escorted them towards their rooms. She had missed the girls so much, especially since this whole fiasco happened and she was hell-bent on killing Xander.
Now she had more catching up to do with them than necessary.
"I must say, Jenny, it is a good thing you could dodge the attack before it made its mark with you and Sky."
"Well, what can I say? It does pay to be a dragon." she shrugged her shoulders, pushing both ha da to the side a bit in an open fashion as she spoke. "Anyway, I am happy I was facing the window at that time when we were so into the mood..."
She paused, realising she was going a bit too far with her words in her explanation. Judging by their reaction when they all paused to stare at her, she knew they heard her well.
