"What happened? Why did you use the emergency escape!? And where are the Aces!?" I exclaimed, a sense of dread welling up inside me.
"Th-the vines, they..."
My eyes widened in horror...for this Mission, I had them take a teleportation platform with them in case of a necessity for a quick getaway. And in that case, I had them set the platform to an emergency escape, which would teleport them to the platform in my office.
The clean up crew that'd been tasked with cleaning a section of the outer dome had suddenly appeared in my office through the teleportation platform, with stunned expressions on their faces.
"Firyal and Sakura, where are they?" I inquired, doing my best to stay calm.
"F-Firyal, she...she suddenly got stabbed with several XFE weapons from underground."
"And Sakura, she...she stayed back to buy us time to escape..."
