"That was so good...nice job picking out this place, the food was amazing," I sighed contentedly.
"Glad you enjoyed it. Though, as usual, you ate a lot more dessert than main course," She responded wryly.
"Well, I do have a bit of a sweet tooth, you know," I grinned in response.
"Just a bit?" She replied with a raised eyebrow.
"...yes?" I grinned sheepishly.
I'd ordered a mixed meat submarine, and honestly, I've never tasted meat that good...the texture was divine, the flavors rich and mouth-watering, and the bread was amazing too, fluffy and super soft.
And then the desserts...I couldn't help myself, and ended up ordering three of them. A slice of chocolate cake with strawberries, a honey caramel cheesecake slice, and a creme brulee, which I've never had before.
