"Holy cow!" I almost fell on my seat when Shawn suddenly opens the door and closed it with a force that startled me.
By the looks on his face, it's obvious that it didn't go well, but why? I've known Shawn not long but for all the times I've been with him on his business meetings and deals, there wasn't one he wasn't able to close. Why now? Is that how hard to do business with Mr. Maurer?
"Let's go. The deal is over." He said and took my hand and dragged me out of the lobby.
I am confused, why is he acting like he's so mad? "Did he sign it? What happened?"
Shawn did not answer to my dismay, he kept walking with his long strides and ignored me completely while he still has his firm grip on my hand.
"Why are you mad? Did he insult you? Did he turn you down? Did he say nasty things that would trigger your inner monster?" I kept blabbering and throwing him questions.
