"How about this?" I said, exhausted from trying out more than 20 outfits for the day, and we haven't even bought anything yet.
"Nope, try the next one," Margaret replied and buried her head back to the magazine she has in her hand, dismissing me again completely.
"Margaret, I've tried almost everything here already and you haven't chosen anything yet," I complained.
I'm not used to this. The last shopping I remember was when I and my parents visited the city bazaar for our Christmas outfits. That was the last Christmas I was able to spend with them.
"Honey, this will be my welcome gift to you, so I'd better spend my money on something worth it. Come on, everything looks good on you, it's just that, it's not what we're looking for."
"Fine!" I marched back to the fitting room.
