The story begins in a world similar to earth but it is unimaginably large with moutains that dwarf our largest and valleys that seem to go on forever. In this world there is monsters, magical beasts, Dragons, Demons, deadly diseases and every threat imaginable. Even with these threats humans still manage to not only survive but thrive. These Humans have been granted power by a seemingly unfathomable being.
Thousands of years ago when human population was at its lowest due to plague and constant beast attacks one person emerged, he called himself the Matchless Blacksmith. The mighty Blacksmith picked the strongest humans of the each of the empires and bestowed one demi-god level swords to each of them.
(Sword classifications go by damaged, poor, good, excellent, epic, king, saint, legendary, unfathomable, semi-god, Demi-god, godly, godking, and primordial fire forged tier. The quality and power of the swords go up as the tier rises. Of course there is exceptions to these classifications like unique weapons or spirit wepons that have a soul inside of them.)
The Humans then fought off the beasts and cured the cursed plauges. Those weapons are now national treasures and stored in royal castles in the highest level empires. The swords are passed down generations wielded by the kings and emperors of supreme nations.
( Beasts are classified as weak, strong, epic, legendary, magical, king and emperor. legendary level beast would be enough to wipe an entire city clean. Emperor level beasts can wipe out high level empires. If an Emperor level beast were to come into existence, every empire would have to liquidate their assets to create armys of billions lead by heros wielding the demi-god swords. The last that happend was 10,000 years ago when the Matchless Blacksmith appeared.)
Just as the Matchless Blacksmith appeared he vanished. Shrouded in mystery and skepticism people questioned his motives. Over the centuries his tale was told in legend. His face carved in stone and gold statues erected in his honor he was named the Godly Blacksmith. People even prayed to him! Each one of the empires had a different view of him but In the end they all had a statue of him. The Matchless Blacksmith had a terrifying existence in every High class empire even after ten millennias. In 10,000 years he would surely be dead. Right?
In the phikya empire there is a a vast forest brimming with life, in the center of the ocean of trees there is a manner. One would think who is mad enough to settle in the middle of the most dangerous area in millions of miles? A criminal? A mentally ill? No... It's a Legend!
