"I've finally found you!" She whispered in a very happy tone.

"She was so worried about you! From the moment I met her she was desperate to find you. Are you going to leave her again?!" I said half yelling at him.

"Shishou said it was a curse"

"Hikaru" He broke the silence. "Call me Hikaru"
"Is that.... y-your name?"

Youya's POV:
Everyone started to stir awake, without me and Ku-, uhm, Hikaru-san who were already awake.
Ayane-san's waking process was a bit harsh were she just jumped straight up from her leaning position on the bedside.
Her gaze wandered worriedly from corner to corner scanning the whole room before finding her target.
"Hikaru! Are- How are you feeling?! Are you feeling hot? Do you have a fever? Do you need a cup of wa-" our ears were flooded by Ayane-san's panicking questions before she stopped asking. She looked down and saw Hikaru's hand clutching her own very lightly and tenderly.
She relaxed as relief washed over her face before sitting back in her chair beside the bed.
Hikaru-san leaned his head back on the bed's headrest and closed his visible eye.
Hina-san glanced at the boy worriedly but didn't say anything. While Rin (who very seemingly had a sore neck from the awkward position he slept in) was showing slight irritation. He made a 'tsk' sound and tried to look away but regretted the movement when it pained the already tensed neck muscles.
A long silence took place. No one knew what to say.
I took the responsibility on my shoulders and decided to ask them about breakfast. Not that I was willing to go and buy anything myself! But yeah just to remind them so they won't forget! Yup! Totally not because I was hungry with a screaming stomach!
"Should we-" "Why didn't you tell me?"
I tried to speak but someone started talking at the same time.
I looked at Ayane-san who had said those words very seriously. She avoided eye contact with everyone in the room, while just stared at the bed sheets as if they were the most interesting thing in the world at the moment.
Hikaru-san raised his leaning head and opened his eye to look at her.
"Why didn't you tell me?" She said again, still not looking him in the eye.
"You knew what it was, didn't you?" She said to him. "A curse" she added.
Hikaru-san did visibly got upset, his hand tightened around Ayane-san's and he clutched his teeth a little.
He looked around the room, starting from me to Hina-san to lastly stop at the sight of a certain redheaded teen.
His eyebrows scrunched and it looked like he knew who the leaking pipe was.
It looked like he was about to do something, as his legs moved slightly under the blankets, but decided against it.
He sighed loudly, loosened his hand from Ayane-san's fragile fingers and got out of the bed.
When he started walking towards the door Ayane-san stood harshly up as the chair fell backward and made a loud screech.
"Where are you going?!" She yelled at his back. He continued nonchalantly to the door knob.
"You- I told you to live for me didn't I?!" She startled us who were watching from the sideways.
Directly when Hikaru-san heard that, he froze in his place. He turned his head and looked at Ayane-san for a moment.
A fraigle smile plastered on his lips as he answered.
"I am"
"No! Don't lie! Why are you pushing me away then?!"
Hikaru-san didn't answer and kept facing the door silently. Ayane-san decided to shorten the distance between them and sprinted toward the door. She clutched his arm tightly from the side and buried her nose in his neck .
I felt myself flushing and tried to gaze away to give the couple some privacy, Hina-san tried to do the same, and Rin was just disgusted with the view. Haha, he has with no doubt never been in love before, not that I was either, but still.
"You don't have to do everything alone on your own, you know. You were always that type of person, to endure everything silently in the far corner" Ayane-san's muffled voice was overwhelmed with emotions.
Hina-san's eyes softened as she looked at the ground, and Rin just 'tsk'ed once again.
Nothing but Ayane-san's soft hiccups were heard. And no one moved.
"Well, why not sit down and discuss the matter carefully for now?" Hina-san's voice broke the silence."You are planning on taking down the royalty aren't you? Then a back up team of magician wouldn't be that bad of an idea, right?" She continued with a confidence I've never heard her talk in before.
Hikaru-san looked kind of surprised, from the little facial reading I've learned by being near him these few recent days, yes, I would call that surprise.
But he wasn't the only surprised one here, I was also surprised by hearing the royal Hina-san talking about taking down royalty.
"But, H-Hina, you, your family..." questioned Ayane-san perplexed.
"It's okay. I've been thinking about that for a long time, and I've made my dissection. I'll follow my heart and do what I believe is right" She smiled genuinely. "That's what big brother would have wanted me to do too" She looked at us with very soft eyes that at the same time held a burning determination.
"You've got yourself some good friends here, Ayane" A tender whisper escaped from Hikaru-san.
*Cough*
When Ayane-san realized a mild cough escape Hikaru-san's lips she switched into overprotective mother mode and dragged him by the arm she was still holding to the round wood table in the middle.
Ayane-san sat at the chair beside him and Hina-san seated herself in the opposite chair with serious features. Rin stayed on the sofa uninterested while I walked closer and stood right behind Hina-san's chair a bit concerned.
"So, are you going to tell us now?" Questioned Hina-san.
Ayane-san just kept staring at the pale Hikaru-san who rested his right elbow on the table and held his throbbing head with the same hand.
"What is it that you want to know?" He weakly looked up at Hina-san with a slightly unfocused eyes, his sight seemed to be a bit cloudy too.
"Everything".....
Uhm, I'm sorry...? I guess? I know it's been a liiii~~ttle bit too long since I lastly updated. No, really, I'm so sorry, I'll try my best. But I at least didn't let you wait for the next year! Ha! I still updated this chapter in 2020!
