As always, platform nine and three-quarters was busy. It was full of students and parents saying goodbye to their children.
After a while, everyone got on the train and in a cloud of steam the Hogwarts Express left.
In one of the compartments a ravenclaw sat with its barn owl. Rusty lay next to Win, sleeping well, and his owner read the book intently, paying no attention to anything.
When he heard that someone open the door of the compartment, he looked up. He saw a blonde well known to him in the doorway.
- Hey, can I join you?
- Part of Sophie. Yes you can. he replied with a smile.
The girl returned the smile and sat down on the vacant seat.
- Good to see you. she said and then added, "I hope Rusty is okay already."
- Fortunately not, but he got tired of flying around the shops.
Ravenclaw put the book aside and asked puffers:
- And how was your shopping?
- Pretty nice. - She replied with a smile - I look forward to coming to Hogwarts!
- Me too.
Win went back to reading the book, and Sophie, in order not to disturb him, took a notebook from her bag and began to write something in it.
Ravenclaw noticed that I was writing something in it, so he peeked from the book and looked at her questioningly.
- I save information about plants in it. She replied seeing his eyesight.
"It's an interesting job, but it can have a lot of neg…" He broke off before finishing the sentence.
He did not want to comment on the seizure of the girl so as not to offend her.
- Can you finish? she asked with a smile.
- If you don't want a broken day, better not. I'm a bit pessimistic and almost always look at the world with black glasses.
- So opposites attract. - She said and laughed - I almost always look at the world in pink glasses.
- Well, maybe it is. - He said, hiding the book - Herbology is a good hobby. I like to read, as you probably noticed.
- I see. - She replied, and then added - You can see at first glance that you are a ravenclaw.
- I admit that it's easy to guess what house I am from - he replied, slightly amused.
After a while the train stopped and it was time to get off. They said goodbye to each other and left the compartment.
When you went outside, you could already see the first-year gamekeeper leading to the boats. But our heroes went to the carriage.
They got into them and drove towards the castle they already knew.
