They had been best friends, and neighbors, since the eighth grade. Alex had felt as if the boys were her family until, the summer of the tenth grade, where she fell in love with Mateo on the very tree house connecting their backyards, Anyone would've fallen for him, As he was the Older, Kinder brother, but then again, Damon was just as charming.
The boys had just left for school in Virginia, they were leaving for college. Alexa still had one more year of school left, and felt left behind after seeing '𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒔' that had broken her fragile heart, So when her parents told her they had bought a new house, she felt the world collapsing on her.
She was moving to New York, and tried contacting the boys about it, they didn't know they had broken her heart, so she didn't want to give them that knowledge either, only the word going around: that she was leaving.
She tried notifying the boys, but they ignored her calls, emails, letters, and even text messages, they had removed her from their life, or so she thought....
