Keerah's POV,
"I want to start with the therapy," I said after the last maid that was clearing the table left.
"Oh, dear that's a great decision, I'll call in the therapist," my mom beamed sounding excited.
"Wait!," I quickly yelled before she'll pick up her phone and everyone turned to look at me.
"What is it, honey, do you need to do something first? Don't worry baby it won't be hard we'll be here with you hmm," my mom said softly holding my hand in hers.
Hearing her say they'll be here with me only made me feel a surge of sadness threatening to come to the surface as Eric had promised the same thing but he was nowhere to be found now that I might be needing him the most.
A tear threatened to fall from my eyes but I blinked it back quickly and cleared my throat before speaking again because that was not the reason why I had asked her to wait.
