Sophia, her father's latest wife drove her to her new school. It was called Jamnabai Narsee. 'JNS' for short. Unlike her previous school this was not only a private school but also a school for the rich and elite. A legacy school and Andrianna was a legacy. Her father, Victor had attended the school, much like her entire family.
Sophia drove Andrianna to her new school. She was her father's current wife. She had a very successful career as a model for vogue when she met her father two years ago in Italy. She had been on a shoot there for a subsidiary of Moreno Industries called as Western Drinks, where at that moment her father had a meeting. Victor briefly attended the shoot as he always did if he was in town where the shoot took place and his eyes fell on Sophia Bush. The ink on his previous divorce had scarcely dried when he asked Sophia to be his bride. Putting an end to what would have been a long and a successful career. Like everything in Victor's life, it was clean, strategic and tasteful. He did not believe in romance but after Susan, Andrianna's mother he sure did believe in a lustful submissive wife. Who only emptied his money and not his brain. An easy fuck. One would say that was also the main reason his previous wife left him. The reason why Sophia was his third wife.
Andrianna hoped this marriage would last longer than the last. For she liked Sophia. Even if she did not talk to her. It was no fault of Sophia's; she seemed to want to try to get to know her which was more than her father did. Andrianna simply found that she no longer wanted to talk to anyone other than Marshal and Dr. Michaela. Occasionally her father, if she was spoken to.
Sophia drove slowly to the front gate where she parked the car and announced, "Here we are sweetie!"
Andrianna clutched at the seatbelt almost pleading with her eyes to not send her to the school. Her fingers tightening around the belt. It did not go unnoticed by Sophia.
She wrapped an arm around Andrianna's shoulder, bringing her close to her body. Her palms cupping the back of Andrianna's head, as she stroked her hair.
"I know baby girl… I know you are scared. But, it will be alright. I promise. You will meet new people. It will be awkward at first but then it will get better and you'll have a whole new set of friends that you will bring over to our house. And you will have play dates and frustrate me into meeting the mother of your friends."
She kissed the top of Andrianna's head before saying, "Let's go!"
Andrianna nodded. Her palms still sweating from nervousness. She stepped out of the car and smoothened her dress. Her nose wrinkling in disgust to the way it had wrinkled. She felt Sophia's fingers weave into the strands of her blonde hair, opening the ribbon that held her hair together, bunching it up again and refastening it.
"There! You look perfect!"
