Ever's P O V
I walked in to see the blood sucker happily having breakfast with my Dad. I immediately pushed him against the nearest wall and placed my dagger at his throat.
"Who the hell are you?" I shouted at his face.
"My dear, please put the dagger down. You might hurt him again"
"I'm sorry Dad, I should've listened to you. I brought a blood sucker to our home. So sorry Dad. I put you in danger." I feel so sorry for what I've done.
"Darling, we can talk about this but first let him go."
"No Dad, don't come any closer. He's a blood sucking vampire."
"I know Dear."
"What?" I whipped my head so fast that I was shocked I didn't break my neck.
"Yeah, I found out when I went to check on him after you went to your room." He answered.
"Can you please let me go now?" The vampire asked.
"Shut up" I My nose flared and my hear boiled with anger.I scolded my Dad for his actions.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier? You could've gotten hurt."
"Stop treating me like an old man. I can still handle myself ." I shot him a glare at his response.
"Anyway, I couldn't just tell you when I didn't have any proof. I wasn't even sure until I question him." He continued.
"That doesn't change the fact that you could've gotten hurt Dad. You should've told me."
"And make you feel the unnecessary guilt you're feeling right now? That kid can't do anything, he's still weak and hasn't fed. "
"Dad...."
"Stop worrying Dear"
"If you're done can you please release me? I'm feeling dizzy." The idiot decided to butt in.
I released him and he dropped on his ass onto the floor.
"You better stop talking. Why are you here and what were those disgusting things after you?"
"Let him sit down at least." My Dad proposed.
"No. He better start talking now or walk out."
"Mmmmm" my Dad sighed and retreated to his seat knowing he wasn't going to win against me.
"Well ?" I turned to the vampire in front of me.
"Um.. My name is Aiden Kill. I can't tell you where I come from. Those things that were after me are Voes, bats injected with rogue blood " He sounded scared and unsure if himself. I didn't knkw I was that scary.
"Why were they after you?" My Dad asked next.
"I trespassed on the land of another coven by mistake and the coven guards sent them after me. They must've thought I was a rogue or something. "
"Mmm, okay. And why are you here? What do you want in Green Valley?" I asked him.
"Few days ago my brother and I visited a wizard to enquire about something for our King and I took the chance to ask him about my mate. He told me that I'll find her here in Green Valley." he cleared his throat and fiddled with the of the his shirt.
"And how do you expect to find her when you only brought five bags of blood? I hope you're not planning on feeding on the people here."
"No of course not. I'll immediately contact my family when I get a place to stay so that they can send me some every now and then. The ones in my bag were only for the road." He rushed out while waving his hands to express his innocent intentions.
"Dear, I think he's telling the truth." My dad said.
"How do you know that ?" I asked him
"I don't see any reason for him to lie to us. If there's anyone who can help him it'll be us." He reasoned.
"Well you can't be too sure. I need professional advice on this matter. "
"What do you mean?" Vampire boy AKA Aiden's eyes widened as he looked around for said professional.
"Aki, Deba , please I need your help"
I called out without answering the vampire.
Soon a large black coal python and a white feathered falcon came down from the apple tree outside the window of the dinning room and entered the room.
Deba landed on the table, " What it dear?" He said to me as he pecked at his flawless white wings.
Aki snaked her way around my legs an bared her fangs, hissing as a form of greeting .
"I need you guys to check him for me, he's a vampire. I don't want to trust blindly and put Father in danger."
"What are they saying?" Aiden asked my Dad.
"Shut up blood sucker"
Aki and Deba do not communicate with their mouths but I hear them in my mind. Only I can hear them though.
Aki's black eyes turned white as she examined the vampire. " He's okay"
"He'll be of help to us in the future" Deba added.
"Again with that, care to explain?" I asked. Aki glared at Deba and bared her fangs at him. Deba flew back into their hideout in the apple tree with Aki in pursuit.
I still didn't trust the guy, even with Aki and Deba's validation. He was a blood sucker for crying out loud. A human criminal is okay with me because Dad could take them on at any time. But a supernatural being who feeds on human blood for survival, that's another level for Dad.
"What did they say Dear? " my Dad came to my side and gave my shoulder a light squeeze.
"He's okay" I sighed
"Then it's settled right?" He asks.
"You're not going to kill me anymore are you?" Aiden added.
"Shut up before I change my mind." That shut him up.
"Were you told specifically where she would be?" I asked Aiden.
"No, but-"
"You didnt even have any specific information and you decided to get off your ass and come here?" My nose flared once more.
"Ever, calm down." My Dad gave me another squeeze.
"No Dad, no matter his justifications, it doesn't change the fact that he'll be a blood sucker living among helpless humans. " I explained to my Dad.
"We can solve that problem." Dad proposed.
"How?"
"We have enough space to accommodate one more person."
