After Anne vomited all the food she had eaten earlier, Jack then took her to a hotel not far from where they had stopped. At the hotel, Jack immediately ordered Anne to rest after drinking some warm water to make her more comfortable. Although he was annoyed, he didn't say anything. He didn't want to make Anne's condition worse.
Jack took off the jacket that was still attached to his body and threw it on the chair. Because he was very tired and sleepy, Jack finally chose to sleep in bed with Anne. Jack had already sent a message to his grandfather that he was currently in Paris so that his grandfather would not worry about him, because last night he just left without saying goodbye.
