Even though it was almost morning, but Jack decided to go back to London. He didn't want to stay in York. Because if that happened, he was afraid that he would not be able to control himself. As he had said to Anne before, he didn't want to touch her at the moment. Even though they had made their vows, he didn't want to do that as long as she had not officially become his wife in the eyes of the state. The journey back to London felt faster for Jack after having Anne as his wife. Jack felt that time flew so fast, as if it was tempting his faith.
"Welcome, sir," greeted a bodyguard who stood guard at Jack's house gate politely.
"Please hold this door, I want to carry Anne in," Jack asked quietly.
"Yes Sir."
