After learning that the Higgins family was the one who had made Anne's life miserable when she was very young, Jack was really furious. Even now his anger was even greater than when he was betrayed by Sophia who ran away with a soccer player sponsored by his company. Jack still couldn't understand how the Higgins family could be so cruel to a child who had no power whatsoever.

A small call from Anne made Jack wake up from her daydream.

Anne got up and looked at Jack with still wet eyes. "I don't want to see them again, Jack, I'm afraid."
