When Doctor Pierre was working, Jack watched while folding his arms across his chest as the private doctor removed the elastic bandage that bound Anne's leg. Doctor Pierre intended to compress Anne's leg with cold water to reduce the swelling on her leg a little.
"Why the swelling, Doc?" asked Jack curiously. He couldn't help but ask.
"There are many factors, sir, one of which is because this lady moves a lot, hit by a hard object or the binding on this bandage is too strong," answered Doctor Pierre gently as he continued to cut the elastic bandage that still tightly bound Anne's leg.
"Ouch!"
"Be patient, Miss, the pain will go away when the bandage is removed," said Doctor Pierre kindly.
