Simpfene was frozen with fear, her Hazel eyes shut struggling to block the bloody view in front of her, hugging her keens she started tearing out, she just wanted to be with her mother, nothing else, the people here sacred her as she felt so like an outcast among them, but her mother says this is her home now, but home is supposed to warm but it's too cold here, the stares of people around are unsettling some filled with guilt, anger, pity and dread towards them.
However, the molten orbs gazing her face looks so soothing that her tears stopped and she read strangely into them, his roughly gentle hands took her little ones, she quickly pulled them back, getting up noticing grey eyes Piercing her his eyebrows knitted together with the grim-looking face.
"Are you fine?"The guy with molten eyes spoke.
"It's it obvious Jagar, she is fine."
Jagar gave his brother Valac a sharp look before turning his gaze to her, those honey hazel eyes looking kindly at both of them, her little nose with pouty lips looked like those of an infant, she looked so pretty with her chubby cheeks, Jagar could barely stop himself to touch them.
"What's your name!"
Asked Jagar, coming closer to her blushing face.
She fizzled a little before standing on her bare feet, staring up to both of them hovering over her.
"It's Simpfene."
Her voice shying away with her gaze.
Valac suddenly strides towards her, picking her up in his arms. She strived a little but a second after she settled with a stare form him.
"It's dangerous out here, what were you doing outside your room?"
He told her with his strong voice, which scared her.
"I....I... I wa.. nna go to mommy."
With shuttering words, Simpfene busted into tears.
Jagar instantly took her into his own arms, glaring bitterly at Valac, who looked so troubled figuring how to make her quiet.
"It's ok Simpfene please don't cry, here I will take you to your mother."
Even hearing upon those words she didn't stop sobbing.
Jagar and Valac trying to make her silent but failed miserably, watch her red face and teary eyes made their heartache in pain, they were desperately uttering words to distract her but couldn't.
In meanwhile, another scream disrupted the hallways, with loud curse words and laughing.
"You fucking brat! Stay still... stop biting or I will kill you !"
Growled a boy dragging a little petite girl with him, trying to hold her into place.
"Now, now Harex calm down, don't scare the poor girl."
Aryx trying to her brother down, smiling down at Perifene who looked uneasily at him, struggling more in Harex's grip.
Upon hearing her sister's cry, she bit Harex's hand and ran to her sister, trying to climb herself into Jagar's legs. She looked too tiny trying to bring him down.
"What an annoying brat!"
Yelled Harex furiously punching a wall beside him.
"Leave my sister! You giant muscle head."
Jagar chuckled at Perifene's words. Something was definitely wrong with this girl's vocabulary.
"Don't worry, I won't hurt your sister, she was crying so was trying to make her quit."
Jagar smiled at the little girl with messy hair.
"She must be hungry, she will stop crying if you give us something good to eat."
Jagar and Aryx let out a laugh except Harex who was still busy
cursing at the poor wall, and Valac trying to surpass his own amusement.
"That's quite a way to demand food, sweet Plum."
Jagar mumbled, wiping Simpfene's tears, who stopped crying after seeing Peri near her.
Aryx abruptly picked up Perifene giving her a cheeky smile making her blush, the boy was so pretty with silver eyes, a dark blue ring inside his irises gave him a look of the moon, his soft golden brown locks falling on his firm shoulders, his touch was warm with a misty aroma escaping his body, she sniffed the winter perfume and was so eager to bury her face into him.
After a few minutes of endless hallways, they came by a large room filled with wooden carved cabinets, Jagar went up to one and brought a handful of snacks with him, Simpfene's eyes lit up as she looked drooling at the sight of sweets, her face was still flushed, little dewdrops on her eyelashes making her eyes look even more glossy than before.
"Mister, can you let me down!"
Simpfene asked sweetly to Valac who trying not to pull her soft cushion-like body closer, he carefully placed her on a large chair.
On other hand, Perifene was about to move to her sister when Harex jerked her from Aryx's arms and looked brutally at her.
"You brat! Apologize for biting my leg."
Shaking the poor little girl.
"I won't you meany head pig."
Harex was furious, his maroon red eyes burning with fury.
"Let me teach you some manners, my little princess."
With those words, he raised Perifene high up in the air, before anyone had time to react to her he dropped her, everyone's faces screeched up in terrified expression.
Only when she was about to hit the floor, Harex caught her, grinning wildly.
"You fucking fool!"
You scared the shit out of her.
Jagar looked madly at his brother, who was busy laughing at Perifene, her bottom lip quelling as she held in her tears, trying not to cry, looking pitifully at Harex.
Harex's eyes soften a bit upon her doe-like gaze, the deep set of eyes made her laughter fade away, he turned away his head and walked away mumbling something under his breath, giving last of his glare to Perifene.
Aryx picked her up and kissing warm ember cheeks, she looked surprisingly at him, blushing away and running to hug her sister.
Placing herself on the chair, they began eating heartfully, savoring the food. Thinking of the surrounding people, Demons are not bad as their own kin think of them, except for a few who seem truly cruel to Perifene.
The peace of a few minutes was interrupted by loud footsteps echoing through walls, Perifene's eyes wide open. A sudden slap stung on her cheek, as she fell from the chair hitting the floor.
