After a month of his arrival in the Fairy Tail Guild, as he was relaxing by practicing a meditation technique taught by one of the guild's wizards, he had once again entered a space. However, this time it wasn't an endless white space, but it was a small island with ten statues of himself with another colossal statue at the back once again representing himself.
As he inspected the ten smaller statues in front of him, he saw that each sculpture had one of the seals he had seen in the white space in the middle of the chest, and the seal had changed into the form of a star with five points. The five grooves were on each end of the figure, and the highest track had started to change colour from the plain grey.
As Jax frowned, trying to think about its use, he used the air magic while in front of the statue with the air seal and thought he noticed a change in the first air groove. As he thought of this, he frowned and looked closer. He stared intently at the track and used air magic once again, only to notice that a tiny part of the grey colour had turned to white by using the air magic.
After this try, he thought that he understood the use of changing the groove's colour. He was already aware that he had to collect the good pearls, which were somewhere in the world, to unlock a track, and in his opinion, for the pearl to fit in the groove, the colour had to be the same as the seal. Moreover, as he tried his water magic instead, he noticed that his water magic was weaker than his air magic, and concurrently, the top groove of his water magic wasn't as coloured as his air one.
As such, with this small experiment, Jax was able to confirm that the more he used his magic, the more the groove would be coloured and the more powerful his magic and the less magical power it would take. At the same time, in his opinion, he would have to unlock the groove by inserting a pearl inside to continue to improve his magic once the track was completely coloured. This idea had come from the bottleneck the master had once mentioned to him. At some point, in the mage's magic, the mage would face a wall they would have to overcome to continue to improve his magic. In Jax's opinion, he would have to get the pearl to break the said bottleneck.
After his small experiment, he turned towards the more prominent statue, and as he approached it, he saw that the grey figure had some colours on it. He started looking for the tiny details on the statue. He then noticed that on both feet, legs, hands, arms, on the chest, and the head was a different colour, and each of them was one of the colours of the seals. However, at this point, he really couldn't tell what it was. Maybe at some point, when he mastered his magic, the giant statue would be completely coloured, and the magics would fuse or something. However, at this point, he wasn't aware of it and merely shook his head before leaving the space.
Now, knowing that he could follow his progress in magic, Jax decided to work harder. The best way to improve his magic is to use his magical power for as long as possible to increase the grooves' colour and decrease the grey colour.

As such, for the year following his arrival in Fairy Tail, Jax continued to train his magic. In the morning, the mages taught him how to write, read and do basic maths. In the afternoon, he learned how to control his magic. The morning classes continued until he was able to read, write and calculate correctly. As for his magical control, the training stopped after six months since he could control his magic without a problem. Instead, he would use his magic as soon as possible to increase his magical strength and magical reserve for each magic he possessed.
In exchange for the magic control training he didn't need anymore, he turned towards cold weapons mastery. He learned that those were useful by some older mages, and he decided to start learning with every weapon to become a weapon master.
Thanks to the help of the wizards of the guild, Jax slowly integrated into the Fairy Tail guild. Although he still preferred to be alone, Jax didn't have any problems having a conversation with the other guild members.
In the year he spent in Fairy Tail, Jax found a new passion that allowed him to relax. He loved to read and laze around. After being taught to read by the various guild members taking a break from jobs, he found out that reading and learning was quite enjoyable.
Finally, with the end of his basic training, which consisted of magic control, reading, writing and calculating, in addition to being six years old, the master officially admitted him to Fairy Tail. As Jax had the chance to choose where to have the Fairy Tail's guild mark, he decided to cover his whole back and the colour red. At that time, just before imprinting the guild mark on his back, the master had asked: "Is there a reason you want to have your whole back covered?" He asked with a raised eyebrow.
Jax's answer to this had been: "The guild saved me and took me in when I had nowhere else to go. They became my new family, accepted me and helped me through my hard times. Because of this, I'll make sure to always stand in front of the guild. To open the way and protect it with my life." Jax's answer had been with great determination, and the master had smiled before accepting his reason and printing the Fairy Tail's guild mark directly on his back. On this day, the master had been pleased to have received Jax a year prior and proud of the new member's resolution. Not only the master. Even the other members who had been listening from a distance had a surprise in their eyes. After all, they didn't know that Jax had appreciated how they acted so much. After all, they didn't do anything special, but Jax seems to have taken it to heart.
However, even if he officially became a member, he still couldn't take any jobs before turning seven years old, which was the minimum age to accept employment. So, for the next year, he spent time with Laxus as they trained together and improved their magic. They had become close after so long, mostly since there wasn't anyone else of their age around.
As such, by the time Jax became seven years old, he became a weapon master. He was able to fight with anything that came under his hand, and any items under his hand could become a deadly weapon. On the side of his magic, he became extremely good with the air, water, fire, lightning, sound and nature magic, having reached like he had guessed a bottleneck he couldn't break without a pearl. On the other hand, the four remaining magic of earth, fairy, light and darkness were only 75% full.
He had trained his magic outside of the guild to learn to control and use it proficiently, but his fairy magic couldn't be used on the outside world and as the magic used for healing or boosting others, he mostly used it for healing the guild members when they came back from their jobs. Not only did he help the guild in his way, but he also improved his fairy magic. Finally, he used the fairy magic to heal the healable scars he had on his body. Unfortunately, some spots seemed permanent. According to the master, the reason they couldn't get healed might have to do with his magic. After all, he got his magic from a cursed ritual, which may be why he couldn't or anyone else, for that matter, heal them. Thankfully, he could recover his face. However, out of all the scars he had, he kept the straight one that started above his left eye and finished under it. He kept it as a reminder of his past and proof of it.
So once his magic reached a full state, he trained more physically and focused less on his magical power, which wouldn't improve no matter what, although he still worked on a little with it each day not to become rusty. With the extra time, he focused on his remaining magic. Some were slower and had yet to be full, and he improved his combat instinct by fighting with Laxus. In all the fights he had with Laxus to train and become stronger, he managed to beat him nine times out of ten due to the diversity of his magic and the continuous physical and weapon training he did. However, as they were friends and were only thinking about improving with each other, it didn't matter too much. Unfortunately, they couldn't spend too much time together as Laxus often went on different jobs. Due to this, Jax was left alone at the guild.
Finally, in the year X771, after a year of training and exploring his powers, he became seven years old and was thus allowed to start taking jobs.

Well I like the character of Ace in One Piece so I wanted to have the character have a tattoo similar to ace. And the reason is totally acceptable I think. Finally is there plot holes? Probably... Do I care much? Nah not really I like it this way.
