Chapter 10 - All I need is an Aide!

[I cannot believe I've been collecting villains instead of useful people! I'll meet my doom before I even try to run away!] I groaned, I was tired of having to deal with the twins and now I had to deal with hiring a Head Maid and an Aide. Then I have to worry about what Paris asked of me. It's still ringing in my head.

"Can I marry you, Your Highness?"

[Marriage is out of the question! I mean, the nobles will probably stop bugging me about it and presenting their sons if I get married but they'd fight about whether he's capable or not. ugh...] I scribbled ideas on how to finally manage this from a ruler's point of view instead of mine, [maybe if I fix this then...]

"..Lisa..." I heard a voice call out, it sounded sweet yet calm and relaxing, it was like a smooth windy breeze in the summer, "LISA!!!! hELLO BABY GIRL!!!" And then the soothing effect wore out as soon as Eirwen came in. [is this why the woman in the Royal Family knight squad are squealing and falling head over heels with Paris? now it's understandable.]

Paris is like a nice summer breeze while Eirwen is like a whole tornado trying to swallow everything. [But I like how she's always hugging me and keeping me company with her silly jokes, although ever since I taught her how to talk the way I did in my old world she's been calling me...]

"BABY GIRLL!!! WAHHHH!! YOU'RE SO BEAUTIFUL TODAY!!!" She squealed as she ran over to my desk and hugged me tightly, like she would never be able to hug me again. Paris walked over and gave me a soft smile, looking at me ever so tenderly, [but why do I keep thinking about that guy I met the other day?] I pondered as I tried long and hard to think of what family he would hail from but none came forth. [For now, Christian is being looked up in the Ilves household, so he won't be coming out for a while, but I should still be cautious since I am planning to change the plot of the novel. it won't be easy though.]

"LISA!!! MY SWEET AND BEAUTIFUL LISA!!! I WON'T LET A SINGLE HAND ON YOU IF NOT ME!!!~" Eirwen delcared shouting, almost singing in a high pitch, so high that it made the birds flee in despair. I sighed and walked over to the singing Eirwen, "Eirwen, Paris, would you both accompany me outside of my workplace?"

"OF COURSE!!! ANYTHING FOR YOU MY BEAUTIFUL LISAA!!!" Eirwen shouted and scurried out of the room, Paris nodded with a listless expression still on his face. I smiled at him and patted his shoulder, "I think I should tell the both of you who he is." I confessed, but for some reason I felt some dark eerie aura coming from him, but he was just fine. [Still as listless as ever. I must be imagining things...]

"Come on, I'll show you to his room." I said as he nodded and followed behind me, [lisa...is she interested in some other guy, is that why she hasn't accepted my proposal yet?] Paris pondered as he shook his head and followed Annalisa from behind like a small puppy and its owner.

"Laos. I'm here."

"Lisa, don't you mean Raos*?" Eirwen asked, I shook my head, "but that's the name of the god of the sun and creation!--"

"YoU IDIOTIC FOOL!! HOW DARE YOU SAY I'M NOT--"

"We're here to discuss some things. Would you mind your language in front of them?" I glared, he pouted and nodded, agreeing in the end. To be honest, Laos has always been the type to never admit his feelings for another, even if he feels happy he'll say he's just neutral. He's that stupid.

"Laos, can you please decrease the amount of gold you have in this room? it's really blinding." I said as I blinked my eyes several times, the windows were open and the sun was reflecting the gold's shine through walls and rays of sun. [it's really blinding.]

"Tch. I would never, HUMAN, are you asking me to get rid of all my gold just to please your eyesight? You must be incredibly stupid to think I would--"He stopped talking and suddenly a big bolt of lightning hit the top of his golden head, "DID YOU BRING THESE CHILDREN TO HARASSS ME???!?! A GOD!?? BUAHAHAHA AS IF--"

"Shut up and do as LISA SAYS!!! AGH!!! I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE A GOD OR WHATEVER!! MY LISA IS GOING BLIND THANKS TO YOU!!! #*%$@!" Eirwen shotued in anger, while Paris stood there unmoving yet in rage. "Calm down you two! He's the one who brought me here!" I confessed and suddenly everyone froze, "brought you here?"

"Sigh..."

After they finally calmed down and the windows were closed, everyone sat down on the chairs that were made of pure gold and were uncomfortable, to talk. "I'm not from here. You could say that only my soul travelled here, so this isn't necessarily my body, I felt like I had the need to tell the 2 of you." I finally confessed, [they probably think I'm a witch or that I tried to use my power as Empress to gain control over them and their lives...]

"Then...you knew our fate?" Eirwen asked, She held a serious expression on her face, One I had never seen in the time I've gotten to meet with her. "Hmm...Yes. But, I didn't know the fact that the two of you were villains of the original story when I first picked you up. So I had no idea, until there was a screen in front of my face that read: Time to collect Villains!" I fumbled with my fingers and played with them like they were toys, "It's alright if you want to leave the palace on the pretext that you've become too popular or you're too powerful I'll allow it since--" I was interrupted suddenly by a slam to the coffee table in front of us, it was Paris.

"Lisa, we are not like that. I want to stay with you wherever you go, I will do anything to stay by your side, So stop pushing us away." Paris said as angry as he was with me he didn't shout or yell which made him scarier than Eirwen, but his expression seemed a bit hurt. "YEAH!! SO WHAT IF YOU COME FROM ANOTHER WORLD!!!?? WE'LL BEAT SOME ASS TO STAY BY YOUR SIDE BABY GIRL!!!" Eirwen said excited, she was happy as is, but it was the first time Paris had spoken so tenderly and from the heart.

"You guys...Thank you..."

"I have a question though."

"Hm? What is it Eirwen?"

"What was the real Empress Like?" She asked tilting her head, I frowned, "Well, let's just say she's someone you definitely wouldn't have liked." I replied shortly after, she frowned and seemed perplexed, "BUT I WANNA KNOW!!!"

"Kid, I don't think you want to know. This Human thinks that now that she's Empress she can change everything, but I think she's got it all wrong. She'll probably die before you can say 1-2-3--" Laos spoke, until the twins shot him a death look, the God simply ignored them and punched the girl on the head. "Human. How dare you disrespect me! I'm the one who created you!!!"

"OH YEAH!!?? THEN WHY DON'T YOU KILL ME ALREADY!!?? OH RiGHT YOU CAN'T!!! BUAHAHAHA!!" Eirwen laughed as she mocked Laos, Paris read through the book he held in his hands while Annalisa looked at Laos and Eirwen in worry.

"You both are children, so childish." Paris said as he looked up from his book to see Annalisa grabbing Laos face cheeks, squishing them and extending them from his face, while also hugging him tightly. He grew irritated and shot Laos a lightning bolt ending with his golden-like hair.

"AREN'T YOU ASHAMED FOR HURTING MY PRECIOUS HAIR??!?"

"Nope..." Paris answered rapidly as we headed out of his chamber doors and started to head to my work study, "Alright, it's time for you two to head to your sword practice and your Sorcery class." I said as I gave Eirwen one last hug as she ran off excited, "BYE MY BEAUTIFUL LISA!!! I'LL SEE YOU LATER BABY GIRL!!!" She squealed as I peeked out my Study doors and started to close them until a certain someone's foot stopped them frmo closing. It was Paris.

[What? Did something happen to him?]

He opened his mouth to say something but instead his face grew closer as his lips touched mine, his lips were so soft and his movements gentle, he only quickly leaned in for a short kiss and then broke off. I was shocked that I didn't reject him, normally my reflexes would've kicked in and pushed him away but my body didn't seem to want to reject him for some reason.

He grabbed a strand of my hair and looked at it tenderly as he kissed it and said, "I really really like Lisa. So please consider my request at least." He said with a soft and small smile, as he took my hand releasing my hair and placed it on his cheek with a sensual expression on his face, [h-how am I supposed to react to this?! Is it because I have a weak spot for good-looking guys!? AGHHH] I freaked out but I kinda liked the attention he gave me for some reason, it made me feel comfortable and like myself again. He kissed my palm as a seductive smile curled on his lips, I felt a light pink blush covet my face. "Sweet Dreams, Lisa."

And with that he let go of my wrist as he kissed me goodbye and headed to his sword practice with the rest of the royal family knights, "Geez Paris what took you so long?!" Eirwen shouted as she gasped loudly, she trembled a bit, [Oh my gosh! this is the first time I've seen brother smile!] "Wait-! were you hoarding Lisa while I was gone?! is that why you're so happy?! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BABY GIRL??!!" Eirwen shouted as she practiced swinging her sword countless times, destroying mummies within just one swing, using brute force.

Paris smiled and looked up to the Empress' Work Study, [How can someone be so beautiful? I want to make her so happy that she'll never frown again.] Paris thought as he smile tenderly ignoring Eirwen's shouts and protests, he swung his sword, [but to do that, I have to become the most powerful person in the world. Even if I have to play the role of the Villain for my Sweet and kind Lisa.]

"Oh my...What an interesting Empress. Should I have her on my side? She looks so sweet and docile, just another bunny to take care of." A man with green hair and purple hyacinth eyes spoke, a smirk formed at the edge of his lips, licking his lips in deep and utter desire. "A demon like myself should be WORTHY of a prey as small as this."
