Chapter 14 - Dark Woods

I wish to dive

Deep into those dark

Woods no soul dares

Enter. And have you

Forget all sweet memories

Of my hairs in your mouth,

My silhouette on your couch.

Like long forgotten

Stories of old

And chimes far away heard

From cities under the mountains.

Like unspoken truths

Of the noblemen

Whose wives know not

Of the mistresses' lore.

Let my spirit

Wander free

Amongst trees taller

Than buildings,

My feet step on

Neverending carpets

Of moss, my hands

Feel the heartbeat

Of wood and my ears

Hear the Song

Of Songs.

Let it be day-fallen

When dark-night curses

Roam Earth and you

Dare not leave that safe box

Of yours. Let it be a moonless

Clouded sky. Let it be that I

Slip through your tender embrace and

Jump in the dark woods

- loosing my mind, body and soul.
