When he entered the tower, a bright light blinded him. because of that, he can't see anything.
He didn't panic but waited for his vision to come back.
After the light subdued, a row of bodies greeted him. There are many kinds of bodies on the display.
[Welcome To hell, please choose your body.]
He didn't know where the voice came from. he looked around and didn't found anybody.
He looked at the first one in front of him.
It was a hound with fire around the body, it wasn't huge but its teeth were sharp, just like a weapon.
there was a writing in a human language he knew, describing the demon.
[Hellhound]
[It's a common type of beast in hell. But be warned Hellhound in packs is not to be messed with, because they can destroy you in an instant.]
What is this?
Maybe it's because I'm in hell? or is it exclusively for me?
He wanted to confirm it, but there are none here, and so he put the idea in the back of his mind.
He didn't want to become a hound… so he skipped it and looked at the others.
After a few hours...
He looked through everything, and then finally found something that he likes.
It looked like a normal demon since he has already seen many demons, but the description tells him otherwise.
[Undying Demon]
[Undying Demon, it's an ancient demon who is extinct since they tried to defy the gods, because of their regeneration, they are very hard to kill and their life force is enormous.]
It has 2 horns, the body is not muscular like other demons, and it's more humanoid than the others he has seen but that's why it seemed normal at first glance, but this body potential is limitless.
He already knew how to choose since there is a button telling him to press here, he didn't know who made this place, but it must be a human since it was written with human language.
he clicked the button and he was teleported, and when he opened his eyes he sees there are a lot of people around him.
everyone was screaming and looking at their body.
"What is this?! What have I become!?" many people shouted, they were confused, unlike him.
He was confused, isn't that mean only I get to choose?
Cause if all of them have the option to choose, e they can't be complaining when they choose their own body.
'What exactly is that place? and why did it choose me?' Leonard was confused. But, he can only wonder why.
Suddenly, someone appeared out of thin air.
It was an Imp, he knew it since he has killed one, but this Imp aura is different.
He can sense boundless power inside the Imp.
"Welcome, to the tower of hell!" the Imp smiled.
'Everyone wasn't stupid they didn't try to provoke nor answer anything.'
"Aww, that's not fun! how about we spice it up a bit?" with that said the imp pointed his finger to one of them, when the guy was pointed he felt pain all over his body and cried out.
Everyone can only look down, and stayed quiet and shivered.
And of course, Leonard stayed quiet too, he wasn't a hero, but a demon.
They all waited until the Imp stopped.
After awhile the Imp got tired, "you guys are really no fun... anyways I will leave you now, you just need to go down from this tower, good luck."
With that, the Imp disappeared.
Everyone sighed in relief and sat down.
That was really nerve-wracking, they all afraid they will be the next ones to get tortured.
Leonard didn't pay them any heed and after a rest, he got up and start heading to the stairs.
But when he was about to arrive at the stair he was stopped.
"Are you gonna listen to that little Imp? are you insane?" a guy voice sounded out making everyone looked at Leonard.
"And?" Leonard gave him a stare.
Looking at Leonard's stare the guy shuddered, it was as if Leonard has already know everything about him.
But the guy still insisted "Don't you know? That is a demon! you can't believe a demon!"
hearing this Leonard sneered "So what? it's not like we aren't a demon, deal with it."
With that said he shrugged his hands off and left.
the guy was dumbfounded.
After Leonard left, everyone got up and followed him.
The guy was left behind in the room, he was too scared to go.
The stair wasn't long, and he found a new room waiting at the end of the stair.
when he opened the door, he was greeted by a forest.
'How come there is a forest inside hell?
It was suspicious, but he had no other way to go.
With no choice, he entered the forest carefully.
He didn't see any living creature in the forest, It was weird.
he then heard a sound, it was a guy scream, and he decided to take a look.
He sneaked and see the guy who stopped him before, he was being eaten alive by a creature.
The creature's size was huge and he got a row of scary teeth, it was terrifying.
He was about to sneak away since he isn't as strong as he is before, but then he stepped on an egg.
*Crack*
The creature looked at him, It was furious.
'F*ck did I just stepped on his egg?!'
He knew he was exposed so he ran as fast as he could!
But to no avail, He was eaten alive too.
In the end, he has the same fate as the guy that stopped him.
His arm was being bitten, and so he got a plan, he let the beast chomp his arm.
It was very painful, but he gritted his teeth and waited.
He waited until his hand is almost chopped off, and then he ran once again!
The beast seemed to not care about him and treated the arm like the best food the creature ever had.
He keeps running while gritting his teeth because the pain was unimaginable. He just lost his hand in a painful way, but at least he's not dead.
After running far away from the place he sat down and looked at his severed hand. the blood has stopped, his regeneration really becomes quicker because of his race. he looked at his hand and he was shocked
It's growing! It was unbelievable to see his hand growing again.
It was a miracle, but it consumed his stamina at a rapid pace, His breath was getting quicker, and his eyes are getting slowly closing, it's just like the power supply of his body is not enough to sustain his regeneration!
He hid inside the trunk and covered it, to hide, and he slows down his breath, he then fell into a sleeping state.
It was unknown how many days have passed, but when he woke up his hand was good as new.
'My whole hand regenerated?!' he was shocked to see it, and he felt his hand is getting stronger after destruction.
It meant the more he got hurt the stronger he would be.
But, he must be able to withstand the pain.
He wants to get stronger, but not this way...
It would be very painful, and if he does that again, maybe he would get his whole body eaten and die.
With that thought, he kept searching for an exit.
