"There are days when I question myself, if I am a good mother to the two of you Tmanda and even after your father misfortune it has made it worse. I have tried reconciling with my mother on several occasions but to no avail. The sad part is that she has not been able to tell me what is it that I have done wrong. My brother and I were best friends and then I went to work in Kingston and every thing changed. We drifted apart like two ships in the dark without power." Karma's voice almost cracked as she spoke.
"Mummy you are just being dramatic, I think you are the best Mummy in the whole wide world. A lot of people would have had a nervous breakdown after Daddy died, but you pulled us together and focused on your practice and now your firm is on the lips of everybody" Tmanda replied
