"Joyce, are you crazy?, Why did you decide to take on the burglar?. He could have killed you" Jason Ryan was frantic and his hand gesticulated as she stood beside her bed in the emergency room of Philly Memorial Hospital.
"What happened? Joyce asked as she looked at her bandaged hand and felt the compression bandage around her stomach.
"Joyce you were shot and the doctor says two of your ribs are fractured."
"What!, when did this happen?. I can't remember anything after I pushed the entrance door of the apartment from there everything went black." Joyce replied
"Well, woman the security says you fought like a wild cat and based on his observation; broken furniture was strewn across the apartment. They heard a shot and then they heard the man screaming for his life." Jason replied
"What did he get?" Joyce asked
