Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

So along with the group she went, following them further into the unknown forest. The young girl, terrified, clutched onto her 'big brother's' arm to keep her safe from the, what she called Mapa. Even though raivis was very well equipped with knowledge of nature and what surrounded him, he had never heard of Napa. Raivis had a nervous auro surrounding him and Sigurd could tell, the blonde cat snuggled up closer to his person's shoulder as a way of comfort, and of course, like it always had, it worked.

The group continued with Rina chopping through any branches in her way while trying her best to ignore the rest of the group, especially that child. Those red scales and the fangs that were hidden in her mouth terrified Rina. Certain that the child was going to kill one of them. But if that happened, she wouldn't be able to get to Jaegex. Maybe she would be able to give the girl to the Napa thing she is so scared of. 'That might just work' she thought.

Baga walked with the little Naga, playing around with her and singing little songs to entertain her. He had never had much of a family growing up so even if she was fake, having a little sister was nice for him. She was so cheerful that it could lift anyone's mood. She was like a beacon of light to Baga, something he was to take care of and protect. She was already special to him, he'd grown very attached.

As they walked they could see plain fields within their grasp, even through the darkness. The sun started to slowly rise over the horizon making Rina cut through the thicket much easier with the increased light. She made quick work of it and by the time they reached the edge of the forest, it was morning.

"Finally!" Rina shouted tiredly

"Thank you Rina for doing the hard parts," Baga said, a smile present on his face.

"Whatever, I don't need your praise," She said walking away from the group.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you feel bad."

"You didn't do anything wrong Baga, Rinas just being rude." Ravis said, earning a "humph" from Rina.

"Well can we stop for a bit, I'm tired." Little Tutsia asked, rubbing her blue eyes.

"Yes we can stop, but you need to get cleaned off. You're still covered in blood." Raivis stated pointing towards a small creek that they had just passed at the edge of the forest.

"Alright!" Tutsia said, slithering over to the creek. The others in the group turned around to discuss the plans for sleeping.

"I'm done!" Tutsia said about four minutes later, still soaked.

"Okay! We were just talking about sleeping. You and Rina are going to sleep while me and Raivis will keep watch for any bad guys. Okay?" Baga smiled.

"Yup! But you will make sure no Napas get me, right?"

"Of course," Baga said.

Baga took the pack off of his back and took out some blankets to lay on the grass for the

girls, well Rina. By the time he got the blankets out Tutsia was curled in a ball and fast asleep.

"You better not let that thing eat me in my sleep." Rina said quite seriously, Baga sighed .

"Whatever helps you sleep at night Rina." Baga stated.

"What does that mean!"

"Just go to sleep," Raivis said.

In not too long Rina was also asleep on the blanket Baga had laid out.

Baga sighed.

"So, what do you want to do?"
