"I hope you don't think that was enough to kill me."
Ren jumped back on instinct.
Dupree's body lifted up unnaturally. His eyes glowed yellow. He took his right hand and shot it through his own chest.
Instead of blood, yellow energy shot out of his back. It charged up all over him until his body broke apart into multicolored triangular fragments.
Akira's hair stood back up. "It's not over..."
Dupree's body was a mixture of various colors.
Ren instinctively cut Dupree in half immediately.
Dupree's body simply put itself back together. "Those attacks won't work anymore. I've gotta get serious or else I'll really end up dying."
Akira yelled out. "Ren!! Get back!!"
Ren jumped away.
Dupree charged up his fist and slammed it into the air in front of him. The atmosphere around them turned pink, blue, purple, green, then yellow in a second.
Akira watched as reality cracked up into fragments. His entire view was distorted.
