It took several days to make the trip from Red City back to Yinying Village. Most of the dead bodies were being pulled along in wagons by horses. There were a few more bodies already waiting at their destination, sent by Naozumi.

Jasper walked through a metal door. Some men in white lab coats greeted him. "Sir."
Jasper continued walking forward. "I'm going to see Gamma."
"Of course, we will accompany you."
Jasper held up a hand. "No need." He went on by himself.
After walking deep into the building, he came up on a metal door labeled G-9.
Inside was an elaborate laboratory.
Dr. Gamma was inside in a white lab coat and pink goggles. He lifted them up to his forehead. "Ah, Jasper, what a lovely surprise. What brings you here?"
Jasper looked around. "I'm headed to Arcania. I came here to check the progress on the Queen's eyes."
"Oh, they're just about done now. I'm actually a genius if I do say so myself."
Jasper smiled to himself. "Hm. I suppose."
