"Mama! Papa!"
There is the seven-year-old me again, all excited to see my parents who I think have just returned from work. I can barely remember what their occupation were, but they are away even on weekends. My childhood was really sad; my own parents are hardly home and I do not have any friends to play with. But I have this human-sized teddy bear that my father gifted to me on my third birthday, and I have never felt so alone anymore ever since.
"Not now, Sana, mama's got some stuff to do. We'll play later," she headed towards the master's bedroom and slams the door shut in front of my face. The smile on my face turned into a frown; my mother has always been like this. Which was weird because in my dream before, my mom was nice and sweet, when she was really far from that in real life. It is almost as if she never wants to spend a minute with me, but as a kid, things are always okay for me. However, it is the complete opposite with my father.
