"By the way, you got another transaction." He calmly told her.
Serene sighed. She is irritated but doesn't want Harry to be tense about it. "How much?" She quietly took a deep breath to calm herself without lashing out again like always.
"Same like last month. 5 million." He very well knows that she is controlling herself from shouting but he can't help this part of her life. Every month this happens then she would yell to take out her frustration but today he isn't there to take that frustration.
"Transfer it back."
"Already did."
She raised her eyebrow "And?"
"I love you."
"Really?"
"Yes." He immediately replied. Of course he loves her.
She playfully smiled. "Thank you."
"And?"
"I miss you." Badly!
"Okay... Anyway take care of yourself. I want you to be perfect running here and there like usual when I come back in five days."
"Yes sir." She wanted to yell earlier but now, she feels better again.
She was about hang up when she heard his name.
"Hey Serene!" He called her again.
"Yes?"
"I found your mobile phone!" He excitedly said.
She looked here and there to try it again but couldn't see anywhere. "Where?"
"In your hand."
He hanged up right after that.
"What!" She looked down at her palm and found it.
Shit! 'I am dumb.' She was talking to him since long but he didn't said a word till now. I am gonna kill him.

"Hello?"
"What?"
"Where are you?"
"What do you need?" Soham asked directly.
Harry rolled his eyes with annoyance. "Nothing just wanna ask what's going on?" He forcefully spoke with a smile, though he knew the receiver couldn't see.
"Are you done?" He has no nonsense time for this talk he needs to reach back home as soon as he can.
He sighed deeply "No…" He took a pause and continued. "Did you get the documents Bhumit asked?" He already asked both Varun and Bhumit about office work.
"Hmm."
"Way back to home?" He asked again. He wanted some more reaction from him but the only thing he got was hmm, hmm and hmm.
"Hmm"
He exasperated "Can you say a little more words."
"..."
When he heard no reply he drily laughed. "Wow so many words… thanks a lot." He scoffed disapprovingly. Before he could say anything more Soham hunged up.
"..." Like really? He looked at his phone for a while with an unbelievable look. "Serene he is nowhere too nice. She can't see things clearly because of her back." 'What I was expecting even?'

"You are back?" She asked when she saw him coming back finally after two hours. She happily looked at him.
He looked at her with a slight smile. "Yeah are you alright?" He asked concernely.
"Yeah all good. By the way work done?"
He nodded affirmly. "Yeah" He tilted his head slightly and friskly raised his eyebrow and asked. "Why? Missed me?" He suddenly wanted to tease her.
She raised her eyebrow too and cheekily smiled. "A lot. Where were you? I wasn't able to concentrate on TV either." She expectantly looked at him.
She wanted him to continue their flirty talk, but to her dismay he didn't continue.
"Hungry?" He brushed her hair away from her face naturally.
She did find little strange that touch but smiled back immediately.
"No. I just finished this tray of snacks. No more. But can you pass me a glass of water." She already drank the whole bottle but needed more.
"Sure." He took the bottle from the table and went towards her.
"You smoked?" She asked the moment she smelled the bad smell of cigarettes from his shirt when he bent down to her couch.
He frowned. "No. Why?"
"You smell like that." She scrunched her nose to show him.
He shrugged his shoulders and took his seat in front of her on the table. "One of my acquaintances was doing it." In the office when he reached his partner was already smoking, because of which the whole office had its smell.
"Ohh. Do you smoke?" She asked curiously.
"No. Why do you ask?"
She directly said. "I hate smokers." She never liked those odors from someone specifically. That's why she makes sure that her brothers and friend won't do anything wrong.
He nodded his head understandingly. "I'll remember that."
