Chapter 33 - He felt guilty

After completing almost all their classes, all three of them, Soham, Varun and Bhumit, went towards the last class of generic.

This class is a combination of first and second year students for the common subject for one year only.

When all three of them reached the class they heard lots murmuring while pointing towards one girl who was sitting at the end of the last row bench with a boy.

When Varun saw the girl, his eyes widened with realization of whose silhouette it was. That girl was Serene, who looked quite annoyed.

He never imagined to have the same class as her, but what shocked him the most was the next thing.

A girl came forward with a very rude behaviour and abused her for being slut.

When three of them heard that girl's vulgar word and accusation their brows furrowed with disdain.  Varun almost went forward to help Serene but Bhumit stopped him instantly.

Bhumit noticed that Soham also didn't like what was happening there. He smirked with a plan in his mind.

He was waiting for more reaction from Soham when he heard Serene savage reply with domineering aura. He chuckled silently. 'Thats like her'

He suddenly felt killing vibes from Serene, which surprised him the most. He never thought that cute little girl he met last time has actually this kind of aura.

Soham was quite shocked by Serene's reply too. What said to that girl in front of everyone, and even asked her friend to upload a video of it, was quite shocking because it will make her look like a hooligan.

He never thought of actually seeing some girl in this life, who would be truthful to herself.

By not hiding her true colours and acting coquettishly to impress others as like White lotus, what every other girl does almost.

The way she threatened everyone was quite a good thing to watch, it was very clear by her voice that she wasn't lying when she said, she can make their life hell.

He was somehow impressed how she established her place in the college right away with this incident.

Instead of hiding herself like others do she face off every single contempt and also gave her answer to every comment.

Serene actually made him think twice about his judgement on her. Which was the first time ever, he felt that he might be wrong about his thoughts on someone.

He finds her quite different today with new light. But he never wanted this feeling ever before, then why now?

The moment she finished, all those girls, who were back bitching and those who came to accuse her ran far away from her.

Serene was satisfied by their reaction and smirked while giving a high five to Roy unconsciously.

"It was a good show!" Roy said energetically. In these few days, being with Serene he was able to open himself up too.

Now even he didn't try to hide himself from interaction with others without any restraints but with the correct distance from everyone. He don't want many fake friends. He is happy with single true friend, Serene.

"They needed to be taught!" Serene's grumpy voice replied. She didn't want to show her hooligan behaviour this soon, but can't help.

Everyone was still looking at her but she ignored them helplessly. Suddenly she heard gasps. She turned towards the reason for their excitement when she saw three boys.

Her eyes narrowed with discontent. Her all attention was on Soham that she didn't notice the mask guy standing beside him.

Bhumit hid his face with a mask while entering with his friends. He noticed how Serene's all attention was on Soham's arrival. He smiled internally.

Soham also knew by his side eye that Serene was looking at him. He felt content somehow. But when he realised that her eyes weren't looking at him in interest but with anger and accusation, he got angry.

He wasn't angry at Serene but at the girl who posted that article about Serene, and his friend who sold his friendship for money.

Though he knew it wasn't his fault but when he thought about how Serene suffered throughout the day and how her anger burst out because of frustration, he somehow felt guilty.
