Levi responsed with a taekwondo kick to the cat's jaws. However the cat is too fast and before she knew it, a great rip bypassed her short defenses and struck her chest. Levi turn's tomatoe red shen she saw her breast bleeding.
"You faq!" She punched once more.
The cat bites her leg and she felt its teeth sinking to her fibula. She kicked its head with her other leg. The cat hissed in anger and vuciously stuck her thigh with its claws sharper than knives.
She fell down. In the next second, the cat landed on top of her and roared loudly. Bits of gores was clearly visible on its teeth, and fresh blood is dripping from within. It appears to shout its victory, telling her to give up and just accept to be its meal. However, Levi is not the type of girl to back down. Not until she was buried under proper grave. A mere cat won't be able to destroy her spirit. She held its throat with her remaining hand. Yet the beast doesn't seem to care at all and struck its claws to her chest, scraping it with four parallel lines.
Levi felt her breast going to explode. She gritted her teeth and endured.
"I maybe weaker than you. But remember that weakness is not a form of defeat. Whatever I don't have, strength, power; I will fulfill them with what I have!"
She closed her eyes and focused in raising her spirit. Her consciousness drifted and swam inside her. The next moment, her body grows really hot. Even visibly turning red.
The cat felt something off and tried to get off. But she hardened her grip, she wouldn't let go. Her body goes hotter and hotter that even sweat evaporated to smoke. It seems she is going to explode any moment. The cat watched in horror, when fire boomed out of her mouth and directly struck its face with a fiery blow of ten thousand calcein.
BOOOOOOOMM!!
It was worse than a grenade. The fire immdiately fried its brain and it wouldn't even utter a cry. The fire boomed out in the atmosphere and burned through the trees' foliage like a great thunder clapping through the sky.
BOOOOOOOMM!!

Light filled her vision once more and it took a while before the blinding light weakens and she found herself in a room she never knew. When she realized she was in a different territory, she relaxed. There's no point in worrying at all since she was dressed nicely, her wounds bandaged, and was laying in a comfy bed.
The entire room was small, only about six by five meters. Constructed of woods polished cleanly. But there was no decoration hung anywhere thus this was the perfect definition of simplicity. One door was at the end of the room and as exactly it opened, an old woman entered holding a basin.
"Ah, you're awake." The old woman, despite her crown of white, seems witty and full of vigor. She was all smiles when she met her.
Levi tried to get up but she insisted she remain lying.
"You must take a rest. Your wounds are not well. We must do something about it. Here, I'm going to clean it."
She wet the white cloth with warm water and lightly damp it on her left shoulder.
Levi noticed it was still in a ripped state. She must have forgotten to restore the blade to her left shoulder. Thinking of it, she was nervous where it may be.
"Thank you very much, Madame. I appreciate the help. But I think I am fine. I was just hoping I could drink fresh water, and I was wondering where my weapon might be."
The old woman smiled. "If you're looking for the saber, it is right underneath your bed. We did not tamper it anyway. As for water, that is not a problem. Here in our village is like a spring all year round. There were plenty of food and water to any corner. I'll get my grandson to prepare something for you. Zou Jia? Are you there?"
"Yes, grandma. A boy peeped from the door. He was also smiling brightly but his expression changed when he saw her. It was of pure admiration.
"Good boy. Where are you off to? Go and get our guest a jug of fresh water. And prepare for meal immediately."
"Y-yes, grandma. R-right away." He vanished after a last look on the beautiful maiden.
The old woman returned to what she's doing. She explained, "That young boy is my grandson Zou Jia. His brother is the one who discovered you in the middle of the forest. You were badly injured at that state and there are two carcass of beasts lying beside you. It seems they are about to eat you but something burned their head. It must have been hard for such a young lady like you wandering alone in the forest. I can't imagine the pain and suffering you have to experience. I am admiring you."
"Thank you, Madame."
"Ah, don't call me Madame. Just calk me Grandma Zuo. And what is your name, young lady?"
Levi thought. An image of a dying wolf first appeared in her mind. "My name is Ruo Lang."
"You must be a shy girl, Rou Lang. But as your name suggests, even if a wolf is weak, it is still a wolf. Once you are recovered, you can do anything you'd like. But why do you need to be an adventurer who travels the wildness of the mountains? Don't you have a brother or a father to support you? Did they force you to do the heavy task? You should not do such things. Travelling and hunting is a work for men. Leave them to seek food for the family."
"It's not that. It's just... my family is already dead years ago. I can only support myself alone. And I was hoping of travelling to the city to find a greater possibility."
Grandma Zuo shook her head. "I'm so sorry your family died. But it's not the woman who should carry the burden. You are weak, but only if you are alone. If you have a husband, then surely you won't have to suffer like this. Travelling to the city is not advisable to a young woman. You should just be in home, taking care of your children..."
The old woman continues her banter about women being weak and men being the pillar of a household. While they may be true in some sense, Rou Lang do not entirely accept the notion. Since this is a world full of endless possibilities, possessing power is not just a capability for men. Even a woman can take the solitary path of cultivation and accept the challenge of such heavy responsibility. Given off, Rou Lang is Levi. And Levi is a boy. Since birth, trials keep coming on, trying to test his heart. Now that he possess two people's life experience, it wouldn't be wrong to say she has lived a long life, both as Levi and Fate. Now, she is going to start a new life as Rou Lang.
After their endless one-way conversation, usually about the situation of this village, how big and beautiful it is, however hard life may be, the villagers are still happily contented with heaven's blessings. Grandma Zuo was no doubt trying to entice her into staying here. The dinner was served and Rou Lang got to taste the unique delicacies which is definitely the most delivious food she'd ever eaten her entire life. She finished two servings of meal just to feel her stomach getting alive again.
"The food was nice. I have not eaten such delicious food since long ago. Thank you, Grandma Zuo. Thank you, Zuo Jia."
Zuo Jia clearly blushed and avoided her gaze.
"Grandma Zuo, I was wondering if this village is far from the city."
The grandma actually slammed the table with her palm. "Still thinking of leaving for the city? Why do you want to leave so much? It's not like we are preventing you from doing so. We are just worried that your condition may worsen. Why don't you appreciate our kindness? We are giving you food and water after you are rescued from the dangerous forest, can't you be a bit more respecting to us?"
"Grandma Zuo, it's not that. I was just asking so I'll be sure of my exact location. I'm sorry if I upset you."
The grandma immediately changed demeanor. "Right, you should be sorry. It's not proper for a lady to ask so many things in someone else' territory. Just be good and behave like a proper lady should do, okay?"
Rou Lang nodded. She was slightly spooked by the duo personality of the old woman. She can't help but think she is planning something. But it's rude for her to think that. She casted the thoughts away. It's true, she was in someone else' territory, and it's not good to ask so many questions.
The old woman spoke again. "Now now, get ready, young lady, I will introduce you to my grandson Leo. He is the one who rescued you. He saved you from a bunch of beasts. Do you know he even split one of them into half? Don't be shy when you meet him. I can assure you he is handsome and strong. He is very corteous and kind, but also fierce to enemies if his family are endangered. I would conclude you two are a good match."
Now, Rou Lang's smile cannot maintain its grace.
