As they charge at me all at once, except the leader that is wearing the skull bandana, I vanish into the shadow below me and they all hit each other instead. Confuse on where I was and say what all people would say, I come out from the shadow wall, stab the first one into his back and let the darkness slide into his veins. The punk scream in pain and would fall on the ground rolling around. What the darkness did is poisoning his blood and show fear in his mind, shattering his sanity until I end him. Powerful, yes, annoying, extremely is.
As the other one was about to charge, a shadow form behind me, as I put my hand inside the shadow, that person charge at me and I pull out a spear, stabbing him in the head. It's a little annoying to call them person, so I decided to call them Robbers, because they wanted to rob me, that why.
The boss do seem furious on the view, even though it was only two deaths, he start to yell a lot on how they are useless and other shenanigan. I ended up to don't care anymore on what they are saying. As the boss complains more, I continue on killing the Robbers, one by slashing their throats, other by stabbing five times in the chest, Another one by neck snapping, and lastly was blowing someone face and shot in the guts with a pump action shotgun. The boss is now the only one left with two others Robbers.
I see the boss is trying to say something, but I can't hear him, because when they are gonna die and they are not known in this world, their words are useless. I dash at the boss, the last two was being use as human shields for him, but ended up by blowing up by shotgun bolts two times in the guts. He swings his weapon at me, but I block it with my machete, ended up his weapon getting break, because of no magic reinforcement in his arsenal. I jump up at his face, stabbing his neck with the machete and let the darkness flow into his veins. For more pain, I shot his legs so he couldn't move. As I pull out the machete, I walk away from him, leaving him dying from blood loss.
{How many fools I gonna cross today...} as I sigh, walking out of the alleyway.
I make my shotgun vanish along with my spear in the shadows. As you may understand, the chaos has started when we got magical power from an unknown phenomenon from three years ago. The people that got magic started to do crimes and kill peoples, some other try to help civilians, but as how it turn out like this, it that there's more crime then heroes wannabe in the city.
There's different type of magic for different type of peoples. Mine is Shadow. It part from darkness magic, but shadow is base on fear consummation, storage and creation with darkness. This is how I can pull out a shotgun and a spear into combat. Even though I have shotgun, I can't waste my power on created magic bullets for it every day, so I use less for it. The creation can't be staying permanently physical, for it could be physical, I have to continually using my magic power to keep his form. I have another one, but I won't talk about it now, because it's painful just by thinking about it.
As I arrive at the primary location for getting supplies, that is a simple market, I saw a group inside. Doesn't seem to be ordinary group of killers, and doesn't seem to be the resistance.
{Are they from a clan...?}
I can't tell from afar, but lucky for me, there's one of them alone outside, seem searching something. I enter the shadow and come out behind him, attacking him by covering his mouth and stab him at his back. I make sure that he doesn't make any noise to alert the others, when I expect him, I saw a symbol of a spade card.
{Spade mark, must be one of the royal clan.}
The Royal clan is a group of criminals that mostly gamble their life for loot, high risk may get high reward they say. But they are well organize and unpredictable when facing the leader. There's two more clans out there. There's the Outlaw and the Keeps. The Outlaw are the one that scavenge and conquer territory. They are really annoying to deal with, because as they attack, they always have a backup plan to attack us. The Keeps are the one that keep and secure most of the important items, like food, waters, ammo, those kind of stuff. They are weak on attack, but strong on defence.
I am in none of those clans, I'm in the Outcast. Outcast are killers that are not in the clans, they could be recruited to enter the clans, they are also a lot of us then the clan.
As I just kill one of the Royal clan, I'm pretty much fuck if they find me out, unless I kill them all. I stand up and enter the shadow, looking at the rest of the Royal clan inside of the market. There's at least 4 killers inside talking.
"Have you collect everything we need?" Said the first one, the leader.
"Not all of it, there's more Outcast nearby, and most of them are expire from last week." Said the one with the hoodie.
"I should check over there, there's maybe some good one." Said the one with the glasses, confidently.
As that person come closer to the section, I swipe him away and slits his throat open. Blood has been pouring out from his neck then fell to the ground as I slowly put him down. I look at his pocket and found two grenades, lucky me, I put them in my pocket and peek at the other three.
"I think we got everything now. Hey nerd! You're coming or what?" Said the first one, the leader.
No answer
"He may just be sleeping again, I'll go check." Said the hoodie guy.
As he walk at the glasses guy section, he saw him laying on the ground dead. He was about to alert the boss, but got a machete in the head, hitting his brain through his skull. He fell on the ground, bleeding out and then die.
"This doesn't seem right." Said the last one, wearing a gas mask.
"I agreed, let's check it out." Said the leader as he walk toward them.
As they saw the bodies, they were shock and now in defence positions, but they heard something beeping near them. As they look around, they hear that it come from the corpses. They remove one of them and saw a bomb. As soon they discover it, the bomb exploded killing them both inside the market.
"What a nice fireworks show." I said while watching the explosion outside the of the market.
"I should go home before the Royal would notice me." I said as I vanish in the darkness.
