Schaffe saw it was becoming evening and it was starting to get difficult as he already had to fight off a couple of waves of Phantom's men. His clothes are starting to get tattered and torn. He had a couple of cuts on him and he was low on ammo now. He was on the streets near the mansion that Phantom uses for his lair.
"Come and get me!" yelled Schaffe as he fired the last of his rounds at the Bandits.
Get him," said One of the Bandits. They keep firing their guns at him. Schaffe runs out of bullets. He throws the rifle at them and starts to run away from them in the alleys.
Schaffe runs down an alley way getting shot at with bullets and one hits him in the right shoulder.
"Shit!" yelled Schaffe in pain. He staggers to a wall of a building that is weak and when he hits it the building tumbles right on top of him. Which would kill a normal man but He was special and was brought to the brink of death.
He finds himself in the dark until he finds himself in a familiar place. He was in Buffalo, New York in the football stadium. He knows what he must do. He walks forward until Diablo appears in front of him.
"You know where this is?" questioned Diablo.
"Yes, I do. This is the last place we transformed into a deathclaw," said Schaffe.
"We are dying now. How could you have done this to us," said Diablo.
"I did not it was only inevitable that would come down to this as this should be our last conversation," said Schaffe.
"What are you talking about?" questioned Diablo as he was confused.
"It is time we faced our demons head-on. It either we die or we continue walking forward to the unknown," said Schaffe.
"Have gone mad?" questioned Diablo. He sees Schaffe is serious.
"I am done running away from our past and it's time we embraced the future," said Schaffe. He takes out a handgun and aims at Diablo.
"I will not let you do this," said Diablo. His right hand turns into a claw which resembles a Deathclaw's. He lunges at Schaffe. Schaffe dodges it by dodge rolling under the attack. He gets up and aims and fires a bullet into Diablo's left shoulder. Diablo goes for another claw attack Schaffe which he manages to cut off Schaffe's right hand and disarm him. Schaffe goes in with his right forearm. Diablo staggers back as he feels he has been cut on his chest. He looks and sees Schaffe has a right deathclaw hand.
"What's wrong?" asked Schaffe since he seemed confused.
"How are you?" questioned Diablo.
"Because this is my power as well," said Schaffe. He goes in and claws Diablo more at his chest. Diablo seemed to be getting angry and started to morph into deathclaw form.
"Now fade away!" yelled Diablo.
"You just made it easier," said Schaffe. Diablo swings his claws at Schaffe who dodges it by going under him jumps on his back and stabs through his back with his claw hand.
