Schaffe was counting caps to equal amounts to give them out to Jess and Ian.
"man might as well just split my half into theirs," said Schaffe. Schaffe would then put his half in and split it into Ian's and Jess' caps.
"done." said Schaffe. Ian then walks into his office.
"sup boss," said Ian. Schaffe then tosses him a bag of caps to him.
"your pay," said Schaffe.
"thank you kindly, sir," said Ian.
"well better go give Jess her pay," said Schaffe.
"you do that. we should go out tonight to party like we are in our younger days," said Ian.
"alright just let me give Jess her pay and a key to the place," said Schaffe.
"yeah she's still in her apartment since we got back yesterday," said Ian.
"really even though we didn't care that she a Psychic," said Schaffe.
"yeah but it's cool still we got to meet one," said Ian. Schaffe then heads to Jess' Apartment.
Schaffe stood outside her door he knocks.
"hey Jess I got your pay for that job..." said Schaffe. The Door opens slightly and he feels the bag of caps and the phone and key he left in the bag float up out of his left hand and goes into the apartment.
"well that cool well that's cool," said Schaffe. The door closes after it goes in.
"well we be going out see ya later," said Schaffe. Schaffe leaves. Jess was sitting up next to the door of the apartment.
"what do I do can I trust them to keep their mouth shut about me." said Jess. "damn it." Jess then gets up and puts on her hoodie and glasses and heads to the store. Jess then sees Schaffe before he leaves.
"oh hey Jess what up something wrong?" asked Schaffe.
"I'm just curious if you would give out who I am," said Jess.
"I see right to the point. no, I won't if you feel like your identity is in danger what you are you can leave and I have no intention of telling people who you are if people found out I had a psychic here we be swarmed with unwanted attention," said Schaffe.
"alright but can I have your word," said Jess.
"of course and if I do you kill me," said Schaffe.
"Just you know if threaten my friends you be making the big mistake you ever do," said Schaffe glaring at her.
"ah yeah I never do that," said Jess in fear.
"I figure you never killed another guy. you never even fired your gun yesterday," said Schaffe calmly.
"I could never kill someone," said Jess.
"Why is that," said Schaffe.
"I just can't. it's not me," said Jess.
"that's fine you can be supported then make sure others don't get hurt only use your gun when you have too," said Schaffe.
"but why do you kill," asked Jess.
"I only kill to survive in this world I learn it is not the same as it use to be back before the nuke hit," said Schaffe.
"That's right your vault dweller," said Jess.
"yeah but the old me couldn't kill either but then I had to kill someone," said Schaffe.
"I see sorry to bring it up," said Jess.
"It's alright if you want to make some more cap today you could run the store if you want I was going to close it but if you want," said Schaffe.
"Sure it can't be that hard," said Jess.
"It really does not we live in a good area but we get the local idiots some days but if you're in danger just call me we ain't that far," said Schaffe.
"ah yeah no problem," said Jess. Schaffe then leaves. Jess then sits on a chair behind the counter.
"use to run a stand back when I was a kid but this might be different," said Jess. a couple of hours go by and a young man comes in he was a young man he had black short hair blue eyes, and pale skin he wore a tan shirt with a light brown jacket with navy jeans and brown boots.
"huh where is Schaffe?" asked The Man.
"oh he went out for a bit..." said Jess. The man then sees Jess gets up not noticing she was there he points his 10mm handgun at her which makes her put her arms up.
"all right bitch where is he? Did you do something to him or the others?" asked The Man.
