1 day before the event___________
The halls were empty. Very empty. I wake up to an empty dorm. The school was quiet as I walk down the silver hallway.
Looking out of the window and into the courtyard, I could see no one.
I forgot what today was. The day another school comes to challenge us. I look at my phone to see what time it is before walking a little faster towards the entrance of the dorm building.
The double doors gave off such bright light. The windows large and the sunlight rushes through them like flooding water.
It was gold dispute me having on a large hoodie, skinny jeans rolled up at the ankle, and some black Vans. My hair was slicked backwards and I had on my large, circular glasses.
Just as I push open the door, I was met by Markus.
"Markus?"
He raised his eyebrows in excitement.
"Mann! Hey! Everyone's down by the entrance. China's God Academy and Mexico's God Academy should be arriving in 30 minutes. Everyone's eager to see them. Apparently some of them are Rank 1's and God Levels." Markus stops and looks me in the eyes.
My hand stays placed on the door with it slightly ajar.
"They surpass Mente?" I ask.
"I guess so."
I look down and nod.
"Where are you going?" I ask.
"I was coming to look for you. Mezy and a few others were looking for you," says Markus.
"Took me 20 minutes to find the damn dorm." Markus looks around with a smile.
I chuckle and head out of the dorm door. Markus followed and I nudge him in the shoulder.
"Growing a damn beard? I see you're getting taller too." I smile and look him up and down. Markus chuckled nervously. "Ahhh shucks." He looks away with a smile. We both walk side by side.
"Is Mente with the crowd?" I ask.
We walk down the gravel.
I watch the large water fountain shaped as a dog spit out a stream of clear and sparkling water.
The dog was in a howling form and was an extremely large statue.
"She refused to come out of her house thingy," Markus answers. I nod a little. "Think she's scared?" I ask. Markus shakes his head aggressively.
We get closer to the entrance and I could see students lined up everywhere.
Groups of people walking and laughing as they wait but the entrance. Mezy, Chihiro, and Arianna notice me.
"MANN!" Mezy screams.
I raise my hands with a large smile as Mezy does the same.
He was dressed flashy today. A plaid shirt, dangly earring, nose ring, dress pants, and some dress shoes.
Wrapping our arms around each other, he pats my back.
"What's good with you, my man?" He smiles. I could feel the heat radiating off of my skin as Chihiro gave me a side hug. Arianna walks around them slowly sliding her arm around mine as if we were getting married.
I could see her in a mini dress, her hair curlier than usual. Makeup on and she wore some high heels.
The dress really brought out her body shape.
Now that I look at it, everyone was dressed up former today. Today we'd be celebrating the coming of these new students.
"Looks like Mann isn't the only Rank 1 now." Jason walks past me saying it loud enough for me to hear him.
I raise my chin a little watching as he walks into the crowd as if he hadn't said anything.
"Ignore him. He's mad he can't get pussy like you." Markus watches him as well. I nod a little and look back to Chihiro. My eyes go wide as I put my hands to the side.
"You look fabulous!" I laugh.
Chihiro laughs and so does everyone else.
"THANK YOU!" She screams. I hug her again before putting my hand around Arianna and brining her in closer. "Ready for tomorrow?" Mezy asked.
I shrug.
My eyes wonder off as I think about what was gonna go down tomorrow.
Thinking about it made me sick to my stomach.
"You got this!" Markus pats me on the back.
Markus, Mezy, Chihiro, and I all made conversations while waiting. I had just gotten news that the other schools would be showing up. They were traveling for a while so I'm glad they got to Italy safely.
The busses show up.
Everyone watched. The heat waves could be seen from where I stood. My eyes lock on the large school busses that parked ahead.
The black tinted windows reflecting all of our reflections back to us.
That's when the doors opened. Students step out as Markus leans over to me. "This is weird..." he says.
I raise an eyebrow. The Chinese God Academy students all step out of the bus. Probably about 70 of them while the Mexican God Academy does these same with probably 80 of them. More so of boys than there were females.
