"You don't have to be concerned, ma'am; she is already aware." Astrid slid off the chair and onto the ground. She grabbed her bag from the table and slung it over her shoulder. "I believe we are done here. I was merely told to deliver the document to you. Can I go to class now?"
When Astrid received no response, she interpreted it as a yes and moved her attention to the door.
"Your classmates will be introduced to you by me. I'm glad you've already settled in. Come on, let's go." She wrapped Astrid's shoulders with her hands and gently pushed her to the door. She could tell Astrid was nervous as they approached the class door. "They're just young kids your age. You're going to be alright."
