"The what now?" She seemed clueless. Of course she is.
"The reason why you are scratching." I exhaled. "Anytime bookie glow, you start to scratch and that happens." I pointed at her hand.
She looked at her hand and screamed but I covered her mouth. "What the hell is that red thing?"
Wow she is indeed a hunter.
"We need to see the council... I will explain everything to you when we get there."
She looked at me. "It's like a tattoo."
"I know but the council head wants me to bring you over if I notice that on your hand."
"Inez, I'm not understanding what is going on here... please explain better before I go mad."
I placed my hand on her shoulder and the book stopped to glow. She also stopped scratching.
"You were able to understand the book because of that mark on your hand." I said as she looked at it. It was already gone.
