"Seriously, Inez, you let that boy drive you home?" Arden said as he shook his head.
"Not now, family... not now." I shushed as I ran to my room. I placed my bag on the bed as I removed the supernatural book. 'Why did you light up earlier? Jada saw you do that, ' I said, and the book opened itself. It stopped on a page, and I ran my hand through the writing. The Silas brothers were in town. I heaved a sigh. "Next time, don't light up like that; you almost put my life in danger."
The book flipped pages again and stopped. I ran my hand through it. Oh no, we have to see the council. I said as I left my room immediately and ran down the stairs. "Dad, I will need a ride to the Council region."
"Now?"
"Yes, it's important!"
"Let me get my keys. I will be back in a few." he said as he ran to his room.
