About 2 months have past and your feelings for Arthur have sky rocketed through the roof since you both have familiar things in common since you hate communication sometimes.
In the workshop!
"Angel? Could you help me with this custom please, he wants his truck done by 10 tonight?" Arthur asked as you turned around form the desk you sat at which was out of the way of the mechanics who fix the cars and other vehicles that come in.
"Sure! But it depends what?" You said agreeing as he looked at the truck I'm front of him as you walked towards him with oily clothes you wear for working.
"Umm can you see what needs to be fixed he mainly said there's a leakage and not to go into the back" Arthur said explaining the situation as you felt a bad vibe with the truck that was in front of you.
"Can't I just go through it a look at it that way?" You said as he gave you a 'really' look knowing what you're up to.
"Fine look at it but—" he was cut if by you going ghostly invisible into the truck as you went looking at the parts and the back.
"Let's see what this guy is hiding?" You said wondering why he would leave such a suspicious vehicle behind.
"See anymore leakage Angel?" Arthur asked as you gave a thumbs up swing the clear before peeping your head onto the trunk, your stomachs turned at the sight you saw as you began to feel sick so you quickly got out and went back to your normal self beside Arthur as he noticed your expression.
"What's the matter?" He asked as you looked at him scared something he hasn't seen in a long time.
"I-I the truck... a body. Blood... oh god" you said not making sense as you had those thoughts of seeing your best friends dead body in front of you again.
"Angel? You okay?" Arthur said as he put a glove onto your shoulder as you were stuck traumatised.
"He... has a-" you stopped as you pointed at the truck as he began to catch on to what you were saying.
"Something is in the boot?" He said probably talking to himself as he looked at it then back at you.
"He has a body" you said as a shiver went up and down your spine giving you shivers as Arthur removed his hand of your shoulder to take off his gloves as he hugged you.
"Just take deep breaths because I would do the same if I was in your type of situation" he said as you hugged him as you began to take breaths in and out as his uncle came in.
"Is everything okay?" He asked knowing something isn't right as Arthur slowly let go as you did the same, looking at Arthur's uncle.
"Umm, Angel had a extremely bad experience while checking for oil leaks" Arthur said rubbing the back of his neck nervously.
"Well, tell me?" His uncle replied as he tapped his right foot impatiently as you looked at the truck then at him as he looked at it as well. "So it's the truck?" He said as his eyes went to you as his head followed after.
"I-um yes.....um" you said not great with communicating especially with Arthur's uncle since sometimes he can be a bit difficult.
"Did she use her powers?" He asked thinking we damaged the car as you nodded.
"We didn't damage it, she looked skeins for leaks as she went fully through it entering the trunk seeing something that scared her" Arthur said a bit intimidated thinking he would be yelled at again for not work for second time this week.
He sighed knowing that you would do something like this but it can't be helped but he had a reputation to hold so he got the keys the truck to unlock the boot.
"You really don't have to do this uncle?" Arthur said assuring that he doesn't have to open it but he is the boss.
"Angel is scared and by the expression she pulled and the way you two hugged showed that there is more to this truck but the oil leaks" Arthur's uncle said as he went towards the truck with keys in hand while you and Arthur stayed away form the scene since you hate seeing things that are normally in horror films.
"What if-" you mumbled since things could be of your imagination but it could also be real too.
"Don't worry we'll do something if there is a body inside" Arthur said as you sighed a bit worried of what would happen if there wasn't a body there.
"Oh god!" His uncle yelled as you both looked at him seeing how horribly disgusted he was as the boot of the car was left open.
You and Arthur were stood shocked that the thing you saw was real and was kinda reaking if a smell of rotten meat or flesh.
"I don't want to be here" you said as you began to feel sick as you were pulled away into the office areas since the restaurant and mechanics were attached and quite small so it was o my a door away.
"Stay calm" Arthur repeated over and over again obviously panicking which wasn't helping either of you in this situation.
9 minutes later!
Cops came to the area seeing the body in the car as it was almost 10pm so things were discussed for catching the driver of the truck.
"Act normal and we'll do the rest" the female office said as you gulped knowing you have to confront the killer bit Arthur was the one who came face to face with him not you.
"Can't I stay out of view before you asked me to search for leaks?" You asked not comfortable on doing this at all.
"Sure just act like you're working and do not pay attention" the female office said as you sighed with relief glad to not seeing him will be the best thing ever.
"I'm jealous" Arthur mumbled with crossed arms as you looked at him since he hates this too but it's his job.
"Get over it you baby" you said as you patted his back near his shoulder blades.
"Still, you have the easiest but I guess it's fair" he said back accepting his defeat and talking to a supposed killer when he gets back.
Back at the workshop!
Arthur was still complaining about you not being with him to talk with the man but you weren't there at the beginning so it would bring for suspicion to the man anyway.
"Stop being a baby! It's only a man" you said as you heard him mimick your voice as you coughed a bit since it was coming up.
He sighed bored since it was now 9:45pm 15 more minutes until he arrives and hopes up that Arthur doesn't mess it up.
"Why can't you do it again?" He asked you as you sighed before turning around facing the blonde man.
"I saw something you didn't" you said a bit quietly as you turned back around continuing to pretend to do work.
It's now 10pm!!
The guy hasn't arrived yet but you didn't lose hop so you reached for you bag which was underneath the desk lifting it onto your lap opening, you reached inside grabbing your Bluetooth headphones before closing your bag and putting back underneath the desk.
As soon as you put them over your ears a taxi randomly dropped of a man outside of the workshop as he walked towards Arthur as you connected them to your phone.
"So did you fix the leaks?" The man asked as as you kept the music off but the headphones on to make it look like you weren't paying attention.
"Y-yeah, and we can get you refill of deasel since you lost so much" Arthur said as the man got closer to him.
"Yeah, I would like that" he said as he looked at you but you couldn't tell since you were faced away so Arthur went to get the deasel.
Footsteps were heard coming closer to you as you placed your pencil down as a hand was placed on your lower back as a smell of a cigar smoke was in the air.
"What a cutie like you working in a place like this?" He said in a cowboy accent so you took your headphones off as you look at him.
"Pardon? I couldn't hear you" you answered back as a blush came up on his face seeing your face and hearing your voice.
"What's your name?" He asked as you began to get a bit uncomfortable as he looked at your name tag reading it. "Angel? What a beautiful name for such a gorgeous lady~" he said trying to flatter you but it didn't quite work as he put his hand onto your waist pulling you close to him.
"Stop, please I don't feel comfortable" you replied as a smile came up his face giving you shivers and a reason why you hate strangers in the first place.
"Why? When we can have a lot of fun" he said again as he blew smoke into your face as you coughed yawing your hand to waft the smoke away.
"No!" You said more serious as a door slammed loudly behind you as you turned to see a completely new Arthur.
"Get away from her!" He yelled holding the deasel in his right hand as the cowboy went away from you standing in Arthur's direction as you sat seeing them starring so intensely at each other.
"What a cowardly guy like you gonna do to me?" The man said as Arthur just stood there giving him a pissed off glare.
"She isn some girl you can just pick up for fun, She has a life too you know" he replied as his uncle cane behind him with crossed arms.
"Yeah, your messing with my future step-neice so I would stop flirting with her and get lost" he said as you fluttered a-bit as Arthur looked at his uncle surprised.
"If you say so. I have plenty of other women to seduce anyway, but if you change your mind sugar just let me know I'll be around" the man said as he gave you a wink you felt yourself get sick but not showing it as you faced back at your desk as police surrounded the man arresting him with some resistance.
After he was taken away!
"You okay?" Arthur asked as he stood next to you as you sat on the desk embarrassed and disgusted.
"He tried to seduce me" you said as your head was on the table with hands on the back of it.
"I didn't know what came of me sorry about that" he said again as you sat back up as you gulped nervously of what you're about to do next.
"Angel are you o-" his uncle came into the room as he saw you kiss Arthur's cheek in response.
"O-oh hi" you said noticing him giving him a nervous smile seeing Arthur's shocked blushed reaction as you apologised straight after.
"No it's fine" he said showing he's fine as you smiled softly glad that you didn't mess up.
"So.. when am I getting grandkids?" His uncle said as you it's looked at each other blushed red as you both looked at him.
"Uncle!!" You both yelled at him embarrassed and red as he laughed at the both of you.
