Izzy arrived at home and lay on her bed. Her head was hurting or was it her heart? Jeremy had come back into her life and brought chaos into it. I'm in a life or death situation, she had been drunk, she had poured a drink on someone's head and she had gone through a series of emotions she never experienced even with Richard. She wasn't supposed to feel this way but she loved being with him, she loved his fragrance, she loved his smile, his cheesy comments, and his eyes. She begrudged her drunk self for having the courage to step beyond the line that her sane self had created with Jeremy. She believed him when he said he wasn't doing anything with the girl earlier but it did not change the fact that she saw them kiss or the fact that there was nothing between them except for a contracted engagement courtesy of his father.
Her phone began to ring and she discontinued her thoughts. Her father was the one calling, she hesitantly picked up her phone and answered the call.
