After the heart to heart talk with Jake last night, I spent a lot of time thinking and watching movies, so I slept late.

I wake up to the sound of my alarm, I put it on snooze and ten minutes later it goes off again, waking me up, I stand up, shower and get ready for school,
"Have some breakfast before you go", my mum calls out to me as I head for the door,
"I might miss the bus if I do", I reply,
"Just eat, your dad will take you to school if you miss the bus",
My dad turns his head and gives a questioning look at my mother, "do I have a say in this?",
"No you don't", my mum says to him, then she turns to me and gives me a look to sit down, I take a seat beside Josh, who is busy devouring his food,
I eat my food as slowly as I can because I prefer to go to school with my dad than the bus, I enjoy the talk we have when he drives me to school and that's the only time we really get to talk to each other,
