I open my eyes and hit dismiss on the alarm I set on my phone, I put on music and start getting ready for school because everything is better with music.
Dancing around my room, I open my closet and search through it for something to wear.
After minutes of staring at my clothes and imagining how they would look on me, I decide to go with a simple yellow long-sleeved shirt and a pair of jeans, this is normally what I wear. I honestly don't know why it took me so long to pick it out.
I put on the clothes and look at the mirror as I tie my hair into a neat ponytail.
I hear a knock on my door, "come in",
I look up to see my little brother walking into my room.
"Can you please turn down the volume, I'm trying to do my homework", he pleads,
I cast a knowing but questioning look.
"You had the whole weekend to do your homework, why are you just doing it now?".
He puts his hands behind him and lets out a weak smile.
