My hand falls to my side as I watch Betty walk away, her figure disappearing behind the door.
*Flashback to just after school*
The school was over and I'm not proud of it but I had no plans after school,
I was hoping I could give Betty a ride home, so I waited at the entrance of the school to wait for her to pass, as I waited someone called my name I looked up to see the person to my disappointment it was Kate, ever since the day I helped her at the pool she has been almost everywhere, it's kind of annoying because I feel bad that I can't reciprocate her feelings and I always need to blow her off gently, even if I don't like her the way she likes me I know I shouldn't be mean about it.
"Hey what are you doing over there?" She asked wearing a cute smile,
"Waiting for someone", I replied still looking around to see if she'll come out,
"And who is that someone",
"Betty, did you by any chance see her on your way out",
