SILVER'S P.O.V
At last its Friday, The wonderful day that starts the weekend, And I already have lots of things to do, ugh ,but firstly am gonna complete the work of today fast so I can go home and begin my plans for getting a man, though I know that this will not be easy, cause it doesn't even look easy knowing the type of stone-cold, handsome, stinkingly rich, CEO ,Who can easily assume or conclude that any girl coming around is a useless gold digger who just wanna mess around with him and take his money, but still knowing this I am not gonna give up just like that am gonna try my best, then, if my best is not enough am gonna give up.
Thinking about all this things are now giving me a headache, but I can't just help it, knowing that when I start my plans it will be as if am chasing after a man which in my hometown is considered as a taboo, but I can not and will not give up yet, yup that's the spirit.
Silver!!! what is going on, what?!!!, I look up to see my persistent admirer looking down at me, sorry was just lost in thought, were you calling me?,. hmm, I guessed as much, cause I have been here for a while now before I even started calling you and yet you did not notice ,I guess whatever you were thinking of must be important, when I heard him say this I looked up at him to scan his face to know what he really means by that , but , I only saw concern ,so I try to give him a suitable reply, am sorry and yes it is quite important I guess, ok-ay? just came to ask you if you are willing to join me for lunch, wow it's already lunch time?, didn't know ,am so sorry but I will have to decline , I have a lot of work to do, oh, okay, thank you he said and walked out, before he walked out I peeped at his face and saw that he was in pain but I didn't get why he would be in pain though he tried to mask it but let's just say am good at reading faces, before I could ask him if he was in pain he hurriedly walked out.
I put in a lot of strength and continued my work, which big is an understatement to its size , I guess a big company such as this must have a lot of work to do, and the salary Worth's the work I guess, at least I won't have to be relying constantly on my friends and be able to do something's on my own and at least surprise them even if it takes everything in me.
At last after hours of work I am finally done , and a little bit early if am to say, so I packed my things and left. As I was walking on the road I decided to branch in some where and eat. I arrived at a restaurant but it was filled passed its limit, so I decided to go to a fast food and eat, at least to take myself out for once and eat good food and maybe buy some for my friends.
I got to one fast food which looked like where only rich big people go , I encouraged myself that I can take a better leap into my life and I walked in, the place was neat and cool, I couldn't help but look around and notice the sparkling tiles and delicious looking snacks,tasty looking delicacies,seemed as if whatever that may be needed was available.
I went to a table that was empty and sat down then I checked the menu and noticed that things here were expensive which means I won't buy much. I ordered for some fried rice and beef call me weird but I hate chicken meat, even the waiter that dropped the food gave me the eye that was obviously telling me am weird, but I never took it as anything and I starting eating.
When I was almost done with my food someone came in and sat on the chair opposite me , I looked to know who it was and noticed that it was my admirer, hmm never guessed you are the type that eats here eat here. hii how are you? I asked him, at least let me start the conversation , am fine never thought I will meet you here though, me too ,so how was your work today? he asked, it was stressful but okay, I always love being blunt so why spare anything while telling him how today went. as I continued to eat I noticed he ordered the same meal with mine but instead of beef he got chicken, I had a lot of questions I wanted to ask but my parents strictly trained to respect the table manners but I decided I must ask him a particular one, umm Sir please what is your name,oh sorry i didn't tell you before my name is Andreas , Nice name mine is silver , nice name miss silver, thank you Andreas but I will have to take my leave now , oh okay but please let me pay for your meal and please don't say no, umm am not so sure, don't worry i want to do this ,okay thank you, and that was how I got a free meal for me and my friends. hmm Andreas nice name , guess his not bad if only I don't love someone else, he may have won my heart, that's if he adds more effort.
