It had been barely a few days since His Highness' departure from the castle, but word from the docks had soon reached the royal court of his expected arrival.
In those last few days, Lord Killian had been swarmed with royal duties to be done on behalf of Lucian.
The end of summer was quickly approaching and this was around the time that Lords, Dukes, Barons and many of high standing in Nydisia would visit their King.
The kingdom would soon be entering into a new season and this formality was how the nobles would show their support towards the throne and the reigning king.
As it could take many weeks for letters to arrive, many also used this opportunity to come in person and speak to the King directly.
Lord Killian's sharp footsteps resounded in the halls of the royal court as he approached the front entrance.
