After Lucian left with the human, the tension in the grand hall slowly began to rise.
King Issac of Zelania turned toward Alexander Lodwick, the future alpha of the northern wolves, and began to speak, "Lord Alexander, you are always welcome to join the royal meeting but I must be direct, why is your father not present?"
Alexander smirked slightly, for important meetings like this he was used to people querying why he was present instead of the current Alpha, his father. "You can be rest assured, my presence speaks for both my father and I,"
"Of course, I only ask for the same reasons why you do not see the princes and princesses of the land present," King Issac snickered and some laughed lightly at his comment. Even the leaders of the southern and eastern wolves enjoyed King Issac's comment. In more direct terms, King Issac was referring to Alexander as an errand boy for his father.
