Akiyama took the key and ran to the door. She inserted the key into the lock. With a satisfying click the door opened. She opened the door to a hallway. There were three doors. Akiyama tried to open them but only one that opened it reviled a kitchen. It was stocked with food.
Akiyama was relieved that she wouldn't starve to death. She made some pasta and ate. She forgot how hungry she was. Once she was done eating and cleaned up she inspected the locks. The first key looked like it was and old big black key. The second key looked like a orange small key.
Akiyama looked all around the kitchen using spells to help her search. She did not find the keys but she did find a bunch of tiles and two lockboxes. The tiles fit cleanly on the scale but Akiyama was to tired to think. She went to bed, tired out from her sudden realization and the energy that was coursing through her veins now sapped her energy. She collapsed in the bed reveling at the softness. The bed felt like a marshmallow and she quickly fell asleep.
The next day Akiyama woke up to sunlight streaming through the window. Birds chirping in the tree next to her window. Akiyama stretched under the covers and yawned. Turning to the nightstand she read '9:00' in the clock there. She groaned and dragged herself out of bed. As soon as the cold air hit her she regretted her decision but kept moving anyway. She shrugged on some clothes and pbrushed her teeth.
Bleary eyed she walked into the kitchen and grabbed some cereal. The kitchen was an absolute mess. The food was scattered across the table from last night. While she was eating she played around with the weights and scale. With sleep in her system she could see numbers on the side of the weights. They were labeled 1-8. Akiyama thought that maybe the numbers had to be the same on each side but that didn't make sense. Eventually she just started playing with the weights. While she was playing with the weights she noticed that the the number on the weights didn't correlate with the weight. For example 8 is the lightest one of them all.
An idea struck her and she started trying to balance the weights not correlating to the number but trying to balance the weight of the blocks. After trying different combinations for 30 minutes Akiyama was ready to give up. Trying one last combination the scale suddenly dinged and the weights balanced. The numbers on the right side read 1,4,5,6 and the left side read 2,3,7,8. Deciding to go out on a limb she went to the lockboxes and entered the codes into the padlock. Pulling on the bar that would let up Akiyama was disappointed to see that the locks didn't budge.
Feeling hot anger rising in her face she threw the lockbox across the floor. (Flames flames on the side of my face. If you got that reference your my friend now) Akiyama was ready to get out of this house. She went to America to train, not to play a child game.
I'm done with this chapter! No one has really seen this so no one probably cares I'm not updating. But I apologize anyway. As always have a great day. Peace Out!!!!
