Chapter 127 - TOO MANY GOODBYES

  NARRATOR'S POV

                The sun picks through the horizon, its golden rays perfectly mixing with the color of blue, pink, and purple in the sky. The blazing fire and chaos of battle were long gone, now there is nothing more than peace, silence, and emptiness.

Abd in the middle of it all. Stands a man with blonde hair- each strand now looks as if they are made of gold. It looks so magnificent, in contrast to his bloody and battered form. Tattered clothes, bloodstain, and dirt on his skin. His wounds are yet to completely heal, the pain of battle remaining in his frame.

Alexander's emerald green eyes look dull- as empty as the plain before him. A deep scowl presented in his soft lips. In his hand his holding a seed, a single olive seed. His shoulder trembled, he should have known. He shouldn't have allowed him to stay.

Alexander bit his lower lip, trying his best to stop the tears from flowing. Trying his best not to fall into despair.
