NARRATOR'S POV
The sound of silverware echoed in the silent dining hall as if click along with the porcelain plate. Inside the room was a ravenette girl and a blonde man, none of them dared uttered a word. But they both held smiles on their faces, warm and gentle just like the light coming through the window due to the morning sun. The scent of food and freshly brewed tea heightens the calm atmosphere.
In the corner of her eye, Rachelle glanced at Alexander. A light blush tainting her cheeks. She still remembers the events that unfolded last night, after Lachesis left them in the drawing-room.
"Rachelle" Alexander called her name, with a low voice- filled with sadness, yet at the same time laced with happiness. And glazed eyes showing his joy and disbelief.
He's holding back his tears.
