NARRATOR'S POV
The young man's body dangled dangerously in the side of the monster's mouth. Above the sky, the moon shined in their way- taking away the darkness that previously consumed them. The forest fell in deafening silence, not even the crickets dared to make a sound- as if the little creatures are afraid that the monster will turn its anger in them. Everything seemed to stay still, even the breeze had been long gone. Yet the chill remained, making the travelers' shutter- shaking down all the way to the bone.
Taken by surprise the monster's reflex was to sway its head left and right- trying to get rid of the annoyance that took its left vision away. In his eyes all the serpent could see is black and red, while in the other eyes. All that there is, was the dark forest covered by the silver light- like a white veil bringing life to the dead surrounding.
