Chapter 81 - BELL TOWN

NARRATOR'S POV

                The young men approached the town and the once mass of black is now clearer- burnt houses that had crumbled to the ground as the scent of ash and smoke still linger in the air.

How bad could the incident be? That even after so many years that the smell of death remained, for those who will approach Bell Town.

"Robbie look!" Brennan pointed at a white cloth along the road.

"Could it be a person?" he asked- his feet picking up their phase and running faster.

With a sigh, Robbie followed his companion.

He stopped upon reaching his friend, who's kneeling beside an unconscious woman.

The younger man placed his left forefinger and middle finger in the side of the woman's neck- trying to feel her pulse.

"She's alive, I can feel her pulse and she's still warm- she's definitely alive" he stated looking up to Robbie.
